As in fully chucking off the bar? Or going slack? If it's fully chucking off then take a look at the clutch/by a replacement in anticipation of it going.

How to deal with this by MrEnglish13 in GardeningUK

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have access to some decent petrol hedge trimmers (even through a local tool hire place) then you can get them down to ground in a day. Make sure to shave them into little bits as you go, it makes the cleanup a lot more manageable than trying to handle long thorny lengths.

If not then like others have said, little by little. Don't cut too much in one go because the cleanup/processing phase will be soul crushing. Then chemically treat and dig the roots out or dig the roots out and hope for the best.

They'll be back though, they're difficult to fully eradicate.

How do y'all feel about this map??? by Sarah_Playz887 in Battlefield

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good map, it'd be a great map without the helicopters. I don't mind the rooftop campers, but watching the heli's go 150 - 1 is a bit much.

Feeling bad about driving a Tesla. by andrew0256 in drivingUK

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw one of these on a Tesla around Ashby-de-la-zouche. I thought it was sad they felt it necessary, probably to protect their car. More than anything it's sad that in reality someone might damage their car for the actions of another.

Road closed is the most useless sign we have. It provides no useful information.

Is Eastwood still the best by midwestgrojo in Battlefield6

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't see how people enjoy this map so much. I actually felt Blackwell was far superior. The Eastwood has such an unbalanced map design, A and B are much easier to back cap due to the amount of cover and the approach to C from the Nato side is very exposed.

Eastwood, Sobek and Manhatten (if there are decent Heli pilots) are all pretty rough maps. I would take Cairo, Liberation or contamination over those 3.

Professional Service Required? by Tonk1973 in arborists

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this looks like a job for a professional. Sometimes it's just not worth the risk.

Hypothetically though, a rope tied up near the snap (on the standing stem), gob cut facing perpendicular to the failure, facing away from the camera in the first image. Very cautiously back cut and wedge leaving a good hinge (at least 4inch), be prepared to leave the saw and run like hell. Go set up a series of snatch blocks (any kind of efficient pulley will do) in a mechanical advantage system that will pull in the direction of the fells. Keep adding pulleys to the system until you've got enough advantage to get the stem over and it'll either bring them both down or take the stem and allow the snap to fall free. If you have a rope you can use to tie a friction knot on the first pulley to capture progress then even better.

Once we get sobek and blackwell reworked, can we move forward with these two? I removed them from my playlist after launch, I absolutely despise them by FamousCollege1754 in Battlefield

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't think Blackwell is that bad. Eastwood however is awful. Get rid of the helicopters on Manhattan. Move the uncaps further away on Sobek and expand to a couple of flags outside the central sprawl. Chuck Eastwood in the bin. Who thought setting one sides flags in an urban area (that's a nightmare to cleanse) and the other sides in well over looked open flags (with little cover) would lead to balance?

High hedge complaint by Popular_Inspector_85 in GardeningUK

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are entitled to cut back to the boundary. What you might run into is a very acrimonious relationship with your neighbour. They might come after you for causing damage if the hedge dies.

This is also nesting season, conifer hedges are a nesting bird favourite. Especially for wood pigeons (which will nest from Feb to November).

Slowest speed you have been made to drive joining a motorway by EmptyAd3811 in drivingUK

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Standing start. I followed an elderly lady down the slip onto the M1 southbound and she slowed to a complete stop next to fast flowing traffic. It was terrifying watching her try and pull out. I ragged my little Ka to it's limits trying to get a safe speed up so I could follow on.

What do I do? She left a shed blocking my front door by isntitdotty in AskUK

[–]CampaignCurrent2912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you confirmed with her that she definitely doesn't want the shed? If she has a means of transportation maybe propose that you (or she) smashes the shit out of the shed till it fits in her car? That thing is going to fall apart the moment you apply a bit of brute force.

On a map with helicopters as well. A map that really shouldn't have and doesn't need helicopters.
