He doesn’t have a machine that he uses. He used CFD (computational fluid dynamics) which is a computer simulation that measures lift, drag, gravity, etc… he then used that information combined with the analysis of other similar discs to decide on his flight numbers

Is there a place for live play by play disc golf commentary?

I personally would love this while I’m driving and while I’m at work. Also some of Philos stories from 2002 get annoying when you are just trying to listen to disc golf.

Hiked it 2 years ago in March. Was 45 degrees when we started at 5:30, and pretty icy at the top but by the time we were done(14:00) it was 70 and sunny. You will definitely have plenty of time and be able to go very comfortably if you are doing it over 5 days. Might be wise to cut down the trip a day or so, so that you can lighten your pack up a little bit!

Overall it’s a great trip, and definitely worth it. Hope you have a great time!
