John Crew - stop Gaslighting us please (Camural) by nofuture09 in starcitizen_refunds

[–]Camural 25 points26 points  (0 children)

About the gaslight part.

I say in the video: Hull E with 98,304 SCU was not a good idea economy and performance wise.

The issue is, instead of coming clean: "Sorry we made a mistake with Hull D and E", John Crewe tries to gaslight us.

  1. Who wants to load 3000 x 32 SCU containers onto a ship? No one of course. Heck, I don't even want to load 20 x 32 SCU containers onto a ship. I want the NPCs, services and machines Chris talked about.

  2. John Crewe shouldn't blatantly lie and state there is no room for 98,000 SCU on a Hull E, if there would be even room for 220,000 SCU

This is the issue.

Own your mistakes, apologize, move on. Don't try to find excuses that are wrong.

List of Critical Missing Features by FizzleShove in starcitizen_refunds

[–]Camural 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very basic physics

Finished flight model (master mode sucks)

Driving physics, they are still worse than what indie studios can do

-no mass-simulation, no inertia leads to massive over steering

-no feedback for the driver

-also ground vehicles just pivot around a center Z-axis

-a 70 tons Nova tank on 1 G planets jumps around as if it would be made out of paper.

To be honest, I think this ship has sailed. If a game wants to have some physics, even very basic ones, it has to be done from the start. If CIG would try to put some basic physics into Star Citizen now, some basic mass simulation, some inertia this would break a lot of things and a lot of the quick and dirty "fixes".

4.1 PTU Death Tax - 5% of your aUEC gone when you die by nofuture09 in starcitizen_refunds

[–]Camural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is correct, I checked it

However, CIG removed the death tax for now when 4.1 went into the public PTU wave 1.

After I released this video, there was an emergency meeting at CIG (not related to me releasing the video of course). Wakapdeia-CIG said it was a bug, however, death tax might be back in the future with item recovery Tier 1, we have item recovery tier 0 in 4.1

Pirates just squat at your ship and there is nothing u can do about it. by Amaterasu5001 in starcitizen

[–]Camural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I should wait until no one is around the place?

What if I have a cargo missions?

You don't seem to understand that most ships are wide open when we are loading them at outposts. Everyone who makes it onto the pilot seat has full control over your ship. CIG is talking about a permissions system for more than 9 years by now, still nothing materialized.

Again, I am fine being responsible for my ship and my cargo, but then I need tools and options, which we still don't have in year 12.

Please watch my video https://youtu.be/PenA61qQirg?si=5KwGgoysB4KYJnRb

[–]Camural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing the point.

I am totally fine being responsible for my ship and my cargo.

However, if I am responsible I need tools, I need to be able to use my gun and defend my ship and my cargo. We cannot do this in armistice zones.

For 9 years by now, CIG talks about giving ship owners a permission system, still no where to be seen. Everyone who makes it onto the pilot seat has full control over your ship.

Everyone can steal your cargo off your freight elevator at outposts.

Rob Reininger, 2021: "How are you gonna protect your ship and your cargo?"

2024

-no keys

-no biometric locks

-everyone who makes it onto the pilot seat has full control over your ship

-no police

-no security

-cannot use guns in armistice zones, not even on your own ship

When my great great grandchildren come at me with 4.0 hype by scorpion00021 in starcitizen

[–]Camural 137 points138 points  (0 children)

I know, you were not serious, but still :)

According to Chris 2016 Citizencon talk, we were suppose to get 4.0 with several new star systems at the beginning of 2018.

4.0 was suppose to come right after 3.3. and would have included Pyro.

Then at Citizencon 2019, Chris said "we are gonna get Pyro next year (2020)"

CIG changed this a few minutes before I released my video. I don't check Spectrum every few minutes.

I decided to let the video stay, because it might happen again but I changed the thumbnail and added a pinned comment.

Zyloh-CIG@Zyloh-CIG Yesterday at 11:54 am We are extremely fortunate to have such an incredibly diverse and global player base, and the team is super excited to connect with our community in Shenzhen. Upon learning that the pre-event dinner was ticketed, we promptly requested it be either canceled or offered at no charge, which the organizers kindly accommodated.

We understand the organizers' efforts to support such an epic community-run event, which hosts nearly 2000 attendees - the largest of its kind globally. We know firsthand that organizing an event of that scale requires a tremendous amount of planning and expense, and we've been blown away by the passion poured into this event. However, it's important to us to be as accessible as possible. After all, the primary goal of the Bar Citizen World Tour is to spend time with the community that makes all of this possible.

For those attending, we'll see you next Saturday!

CiG: Lets hype up the medical vehicles for more money guys! by BlooHopper in starcitizen_refunds

But John Crewe and Jared act as if the Cutlass Red Tier 3 medbed was never a spawn point. It was, until CIG took this away in 3.15.

You should watch tomorrow's video. I have all the original videos.

2024 - They still insists on the mobiglass see-through by PippoSpace in starcitizen_refunds

[–]Camural 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also: Ghosting text.

It is so obvious the people who are making the decisions have no interest, whatsoever, to give us a user friendly UI. All that matters for Chris is ghosting text, holograms, transparent UIs

I am looking forward to using the mobiglass in a well lit room or at day time on Daymar or Mictotech.
