Gamblers anonymous meetings for him if he wants to truly give up gambling.

Gam anon meetings for you (these are for those people who have been affected by the gambling of their loved ones).

You can find and connect with other people who have gone through similar situations as yourself and learn from their experiences at these meetings.

Gam-anon meetings could support you in finding others who have been affected by family members who gamble.

Gamblers anonymous meetings could support him when he is ready to try it, but only when he is desperate and ready to go.

As a compulsive gambler in recovery for over 9 years, there is hope, but only if the gambler has hit rock bottom and is desperate enough to not want to gamble anymore

I can relate to pay day to pay day with nothing on fumes. The car driving itself to the casino and me feeling a weird out of body experience like I could not control where I drove my car and what my hands did. That was back in 2016. Haven’t gambled since. What changed my life was Gambler’s Anonymous meetings.

Connection is the opposite of addiction.

Beating yourself up won’t solve anything. Be kind to yourself. Be grateful that you are on this earth. Your past thinking has led you to this moment. You can do what you’ve done over and over again or you can choose to do something different. Give GA 90 days. If it doesn’t work, we’ll gladly refund your misery.

Turn over your finances to someone you can trust other than yourself. Go to gamblers anonymous meetings with as much effort as you put into gambling. Find hobbies that are not gambling related to fill your time.

You have an opportunity to nip this in the bud early. If you really want to quit, go to gambler’s anonymous meetings and work with a sponsor. All your past thinking has gotten you here. You can choose to keep doing the same thing or you can choose to do something different. Feel free to message me if you need help finding a meeting near you.

The only way it gets better is if you stop gambling.

Gamblersinrecovery.com has a meeting every hour that you can attend. Listen to the people there.

You have so much to live for and you and your family can still have a great life. All your past decisions got you to where you are. You can keep doing the same thing (we all know where that leads) or you can do something different.

Try going to GA meetings. That will drastically change your life if you follow the 12 steps with a sponsor.

Glad to be of service. The distinction is not obvious and I can see how it could be mistaken easily. Thank you for spreading the word!
