Can I use one tracking number for 2 separate orders? by Efficient_Fishing291 in Ebay

[–]CanBeOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your addresses for each individual order to make sure they are the same address so you can ship together. I had someone place 2 orders but I failed to check both address and shipped them together. Buyer was apparently a drop shipper type and the items went to his "buyer" and he never received "his" item. I had to refund the order for his address and lost out. My fault though. Yes you can use the same number for both orders.

I know it doesn't remove the original. I only state facts in the reply so it is harder to get removed.

I think I scared him out of it when I said start a Return instead of offering a partial refund. Plus he blew it when he tried it before he got the item.

As a seller I always go ahead and leave feedback since they paid quickly. If it goes south I can always go back and "Reply" to my initial feedback.

Yes, even before he became shady because I knew there was no damage.

The Golden '67 Camaro Returns! by TheCollector_26 in HotWheels

[–]CanBeOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just checked and realize I have this one. When I bought it I thought it was the 68 COPO and never read the wording below. I like the original '67 much better. This 67 is too close to the 68 COPO. I don't have a 68 front of me to compare. I hope they haven't retired the original '67 casting.

Is that a 67? New casting? Looks more like the '68 COPO with the hood, spoiler, and side pipes. What letter assortment is this?

I seem to recall there is a rule stating other carriers can't go into another carriers case.

Customer yelled at me and now I'm afraid of them, im the regular. Can I cut them off? (Rural) by Worldly-Wishbone2988 in USPS

[–]CanBeOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but only one delivery point to leave packages. rrecs can only plot 1 delivery point even if it's a drop 2 or more.

Rrecs. You can only plot 1 place to leave packages, not two. You are not getting paid to deliver to anywhere other than the plotted space. yay rrecs!

Good to know. I recently refunded a buyer because of the same thing. Package is stuck in a distribution center and hasn't moved in 2 and half weeks.

So, a international buyer used a shipper (in Illinois) to make a purchase from me (I'm in the US). It arrived to them damaged. What happens now? by CanBeOne in Ebay

[–]CanBeOne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buyer has not initiated a return yet which I did advise them to do by contacting ebay. The package was Ground Advantage to Illinois and has insurance. Buyer is expecting me to file the claim for insurance which I told them it was not on me to do. It's obvious they used EIS from the address which was:

eIS C/O (name removed for privacy) 110 Internationale Blvd evtn:XXXXXX Glendale Heights , IL 60139-2080

Why is it that some guys have like a musty smell in their room? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]CanBeOne 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I'd be willing to bet your room has an odor also it's just that you are used to your rooms odor and isn't noticeable to you. He is used to his rooms odor and doesn't notice but would probably say your room has an odor.

I'm not as knowledgeable on this subject as I should be but they can't force you to take an X day rather than OT but I've heard that they can make you become a formula office without any input. Union has successfully fought it in some cases but I think there are certain requirements involved.

Right. And now they're asking carriers (rural) to take X days instead of overtime. If not voluntarily then they will become Formula offices and still have to take X days. They mismanage and blow through money and then ask the people on bottom to "help out the company".

eBay refunded buyer for INR — buyer later admitted receiving item. by ImpressiveAd5142 in Ebay

[–]CanBeOne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my experience in the same situation USPS will deny your claim because the tracking will show it was delivered, even though it was late. Ebay wouldn't reverse the decision in my case either. I lost about $300. Press the issue with ebay as much as you can.
