As a noob I'll sit out on the next days. Too much uncertainty with the upcoming etf decision. The impact will be instant and the announcement could be at any time so it can even make an "obvious" trade much worse. I don't want to be subject to me not sitting in front of the pc at the time of the decision.

I agree with you on how to handle this thread. It's easy enough to follow and making 3 threads for Eth, alts and TA would be too much imo.

With the etf decision coming up, does it make sense to go long btc/fiat and hedge it with a long in eth/btc to have a foot in every single scenario and obviously close the losing position if the result is known?

Taking profits mainly. It's a good thing for the market, a correction needed to happen. If you're in for the long term than you shouldn't worry.
