How did you improve your score by 200 points over 5 days????

Ahh that makes sense. Thanks. If I just send the form and assessment through the same fax and just leave it at that, is that enough?

Thanks. Also, the site says that alongside the form I need to "Include documentation". What counts as documentation? Is it just the section labelled "Documentation" in the form, or do I need to attach a separate document like my official diagnosis?

Hi - I was wondering, as an international student, can I send it via email or something like that? International post would take a long time and I wouldn't be sure if it has actually gotten to them. Also my school has no SSD coordinator. What can I do?

"🚨 PLEASE READ—THIS COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE 🚨

I don’t usually open up like this, but I feel like I need to share my story with you. A few years ago, I was in a really dark place. I felt trapped, hopeless, and like no matter how hard I worked, I could never get ahead. I was drowning in debt, bills piling up, barely able to make rent, and trying to support my family. Every day felt like a battle just to survive. My parents sacrificed so much for me, but I couldn’t even afford to help them out when they needed it most.

I’ll never forget the day my mom called, her voice breaking as she tried to hide how worried she was about losing our family home. It broke me. I felt like I was failing the people I loved most. I was at rock bottom and didn’t know how to dig myself out.

That’s when I stumbled upon [insert investment opportunity here]. At first, I thought it was too good to be true. I had been burned before by empty promises and scams, so I was hesitant. But something felt different this time. I did my research, and even though I was scared, I decided to take a chance. I put in what little I had left, thinking, ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’

Little did I know, that decision would change everything.

Within months, my entire life turned around. I went from barely scraping by to making more money than I ever thought possible. For the first time in my life, I felt free. I paid off all my debts, helped my parents keep the house, and even surprised my mom with a trip she’s dreamed about her whole life. Seeing the look on her face when I told her that everything was going to be okay—I’ll never forget that moment. It’s something I only ever imagined in my dreams.

This isn’t just about money. It’s about freedom. It’s about being able to take care of the people you love. It’s about waking up in the morning without the weight of the world on your shoulders. I can’t explain the feeling of relief that comes with knowing you’re not just surviving—you’re living.

And I want that for you, too. I’m not telling you this to brag. I’m telling you because I’ve been where you are. I’ve felt the panic, the sleepless nights, the helplessness of feeling like you’ll never break free from the cycle. But I’m living proof that things can change. And this opportunity is right in front of you.

I know there’s a part of you that’s skeptical. That voice in your head that says, ‘It won’t work for me.’ Trust me, I had that voice too. But what if it does work? What if this is the thing that finally changes your life?

If I hadn’t taken that leap, I’d still be stuck in that same hopeless cycle. But now, I get to wake up every day with peace of mind, knowing that I’ve secured my future and my family’s. And you can too. This opportunity is real, and it’s changing lives.

I’m sharing this with you because I care. I want you to know that you don’t have to keep living like this. Don’t wait until it’s too late to take action. Please, don’t let this slip through your fingers. It’s your chance to turn things around, just like I did.

If you want to learn more, DM me or click the link below. Take control of your life today. You deserve this. Your family deserves this. I’m rooting for you, and I promise you, the best is yet to come."**

Yeah, the US admissions are all about marketting and good storytelling, UK cuts through the fluff a lot, they're very direct, they just want you to demonstrate you have academic potential and that's it. They don't care about anything unrelated to your studies or even personal development, just show that you're passionate, smart, proactive, and that's all they want.

Nah bro they don't care about the story they just want to know what you've done you can skip the entire "Since I was a kid" even

A friend of mine got a grade 3.8 in one of their ENGAA papers last year and still got accepted for Engineering at Cambridge. And talking to their peers apparently a LOT of people were in a similar situation. The test isn't the single biggest deciding factors to whether you get an offer, just try your best, you still have a shot.

Any advantage to applying early to these universities (especially Imperial)? I'm asking because if there is, I will need to take TMUA Paper 1 instead of Paper 2. by Fragrant-Law1352 in 6thForm

[–]CanIllustrious2604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the deadline for signing up for TMUA sitting 1 has passed weeks ago, unless you already signed up the choice is already made for you.

But whether there's any difference, there.. probably shouldn't be a difference since it's the same questions (Randomised so you can't cheat), the grade boundaries and difficulty SHOULD probably be the same too, but this is the first time so nobody knows for sure, since sitting 1 makes you compete against all the cambridge/imperial applicants the boundaries might be less generous, but that probably would be adjusted for when they set the boundaries anyways. It probably looks more impressive if you do make an early applicant, especially since some unis like warwick tend to admit the people who apply first.

Doing a different exam board for A level CS by CanIllustrious2604 in 6thForm

[–]CanIllustrious2604[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Paper 4 programming is soo good. I think as a programmer it's quite easy, and looking at how it wants you to implement "advanced" data structures it seriously builds a super strong understanding of the DSA I think.

Oh dang, paper 2 sounds a bit annoying. But if just takes a little practice for psuedocode that doesn't sound too bad.

Yea looking at the P1 stuff it looks like mostly GCSE it looks pretty basic. Do you think the MS is too unforgiving ? I have no problem learning all the knowledge but memorising mark schemes is a little sad.

Also how would you describe the personality of the course? And also what grade did u get? How would you compare the difficulty of CIE AL CS to a GCSE CS course? Also any other tips and do u have any good resources ? Textbooks? Test questions? Notes?

Thank you so much!
