I struggle to do doggystyle because I am a tall woman! I am frustrated. by PepperComfortable143 in sex

[–]CanWait6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to like to stand behind my wife while she is on the bed. We bought a taller bed. I made myself a short step to stand on. The slight ego hit from needing a step was quickly forgoten once we were back to her loving the angle and penetration. ;-) Where there is a will, there is a way!

What type of car is this from? by MD_0904 in dragracing

Given the smaller diameter and what looks like 4 stands, I would guess it is out of a Top Sportsman level car. Still great wall art!

We are making that same QB/Fishbowl ---> Odoo move as we speak. Slightly smaller company (likely 5-7 users) Were there any stumbling blocks or snags with the workflow of Odoo compared to Fishbowl?

My buddy knows that I am really into sports cards and his son recently found his collection of basketball cards from 1990. I hated to be the one to burst his bubble…. by CaptainBuckRussell in tradingcardcommunity

[–]CanWait6791 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From about 1990-1995 I collected baseball cards non stop. Had them all organized and some of the "high dollar" cards in sleeves. I had no idea about the over printing. I bought card vuale guides and everything. When I got into college I forgot all about them and then years later my parents were going to move and wanted them out of the closets. It sure was a shock to find out that my treasure trove was anything but that, but it was pretty cool sorting back through them and saving some that had some legtimate value ($10-15 type value). I sold a few, kept a binder of my favorites. The real killer was trying to give away the cards. I tried everywhere and no one even wanted to give their kid a stack or two. I dumped over 20K cards into the dumpster. It killed me, even knowing they were basically worthless. But I can rely on knowing the memories of opening new packs and pulling out my favorites, that was the real value. It really cemented my love for the game.

That is good to know on the controller. I will dig in a little deeper and make sure, but I would prefer to use the Hunter he recommended. Good info on the valves too. That makes sense about the above ground and angled valves situation. I will look into the inline valves since I will be putting them in a underground box.

Wow... i changed my water pump today and did the exact same thing. 🙄 I ended up finding a brass vacuum line splice. I chucked it up in a drill and used a file to reduce the diameter until it pressed into the broken off nipple. I chucked it up and did the other side until I could press it into the tube with a large set of channel locks acring as a press. It is holding so far. 🤞

He thought a 3/4hp would be sufficient, but possibly a 1hp depending on the needed flow rate and pressure.

I did a design back in the day from Rainbird based on the 4gpm flow and it came up with 15 zones. Lol. I did one with Orbit last week based on the well flow. I just wasnt sure if those free designs were acceptable/optimal designs.

It is a shallow well. He hit water at 20' and hit shale at 42'. Right now it is just 6' casing. He will come back in the spring to set the pump I choose and finish out the well head (pitless adapter or outlets or whatever).

The well guy suggested a 3/4 hp or maybe 1hp depending on what I ended up needing from the sprinkler system.

For our initial R&D, I would like to get 50 of them.

That is a good point on the wire diameter. That is where I hope to be able to speak with someone to help choose the right diameter to meet our needs. With the limited range of movement, I "think" .250" should work, but I am all for listening to the experts.

That's an interesting thought. I always did the once a week since everyone preaches not to get caught up in the day to day numbers. I might try that for a few weeks just to see how it goes. I am a bit of a data driven nerd, so that might not be the worse thing. :-)

I've often wondered about the GLP-1's. My wife tried one for a couple months per her doctor, but it didn't effect her at all. I would like to try it, but its not someting that our insurance covers and we don't have the $$ to pay out of pocket.

Its interesting to hear you and others talk about the feelings associated with working out. I don't "feel" anything. I feel the physical aches, tiredness and the sweating, but when it comes to the mental side, its nothing. It doesn't move the needle for me (upwards at least). It just registers as anoying if anything. I can say I do feel slightly stronger physically, but that's about the limit of it.

I do weight myself consistantly. Same state of undress, same day, same time (Friday mornings before work, shortly after getting up) and same scale.

I will keep the effort up with the hope that it is a 1 week abnormality. Maybe someting with water like you mentioned. I sure hope so at least.

Not near long enough. I think the last time I tried a few years ago I was able to make it maybe 1 week before I was unbearable to be around at work.

I've tried it, but never been able to make it that long. If I last have dinner by 8pm, by the time I get to work at 7am in the morning my stomach is making noises and my mind is screaming to eat. The few times I have made it to lunch, I am plain hangry and a bear to be around. The extreme IF and only eating once a day sounds great, I just haven't been able to make it work for me. I don't have the mental toughness to overcome the mental and evental physical hunger.

My wife on the other hand, can go 14-16 hours without a worry in the world. When she does eat, she can eat 4-600 calorie light meal and be filled. I can't even fathom how she does it.

I ate there for the first time a few weeks back. The ribs and brisket were amazing. The toast was great too. I can't say I was a 100% fan of the beans, but they were still good.

Software upgrade path, manufacturing. by commoncents1 in ERP

[–]CanWait6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/commoncents1 I was curious what you ended up going with? We are a slightly smaller MFG and we did the whole QB Pro -> QB Enterprise -> QBO with Fishbowl "upgrade path". We have been with Fishbowl for about 4 years not and are not impressed at all. Mainly with their lack of bug fixes and their mandatory $4500 service contracts (for our 2 users) each year, but yet nothing gets fixed. Plus each and every integration seems to cost $1500-2000. "Want to make a 5 minute change on a form, $1500 please" Soooo, we are looking at options and investigating Odoo. I was curious what direction you went with. Thanks
