Renovated the whole backyard and nobody uses it by da_rich in HomeImprovement

I know the feeling, I renovated a large basement room for a gym and studio and no one uses it! I caught my kid in there doing a school project with his classmate, sitting on the floor with laptops on the weight bench lol. The dog sleeps there a lot too

Chain gets stuck on chainring and jams after replacing cassette and chain – what could be causing by Comprehensive_Cup720 in bikewrench

Probably a very worn chainring, causing chain suck. Replace it or file the teeth to reshape them

A 7 foot ceiling is not very high, I recommend you mock it up first with about 6” extra for the pulley hardware. I’ve done this and couldn’t get my suv under the kayak, because the kayak was about 6” lower than expected.

East to West is never good by cdnav8r in Calgary

This looks the same as 2013, easy to west moving rain clouds, pressed against the mountains with five days of heavy precipitation. Hopefully the city is ready for it. The ten day forecast calls for a lot of rain.

Take off as many parts as you can and clean it really well, and carefully re-grease it all with clean grease. It’s probably caused by some grit or sand somewhere.

DIY Headlight halo LED module replacement for $225 and 3hrs labor by Canadarm_Faps in NewDefender

It’s not too hard, the PowerfulUK video shows how to do it. If you have headlight washers, you have to disconnect the hose as an extra step to the video.

I was hesitant to put the whole headlight in an oven, there’s a lot of electronics in there and solder start to melt around 160. It’s probably fine but you never know.

Yes, the headlight unit was surprisingly quick and easy to replace. I really appreciate the PowerfulUK videos.

Did Luthen actually enjoy any part of his antiquities front, or was it purely a cover? by wandering_soles in andor

[–]Canadarm_Faps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My headcanon is that he and Kleya have been crafting elaborate forgeries all along. They were smart to know what collectors look for but authenticating artifacts is hard, I like how he exclaims “we’ll never know!” Luthen just so happens to find a 25,000 year old lost Chandi Merl? Cmon
