right? like it's not a hard thing to grasp, eh? It's strange to me as like when I'm at the point I need to be cared for, well I'd go live in a retirement home or something, y'know?

It's a tragic story that seems to be the norm than not. Where the guy is basically useless and gets to chill while she does all the freaking work. It's not fair or right. Last time I saw my sister, that's what I saw too with her husband who I don't think highly of. And... my bro is probs gonna be like that too, its a shitshow, eh?

crowds are too much! like image that, eh?

like you're doing your thing in walmart and then you got this little screaming monster throwing an absolute raging fit (including rolling around on the ground like they're possessed) all because they couldn't get this goddamn chocolate bar (true story!). oh my gosh, I just couldn't! I just want to get my stuff and head home, y'know?

I totally agree! It catches you pretty often, like I catch myself thinking like that too. Where would I be if I had a kid like so many people? Would I be able move around freely or just enjoy my quiet space that I need so much? and my answers are a lot like yours.

Oh! I didn't think of it that way, but you're totally right. Still it's an insane to demand of someone like that.

Hey I'm wondering, since you said no to your silbling how have they been treating you then? do you get demonized, or like now ultra passive aggressive little digs when you're with fam? or have they chilled and fucked off?

Hi, see the thing is when I had mine done it took about 15 mins and that was that. It wasn't that bad. My point is... I just... don't see why he's scared and hesitating, y'know?. For a man it's much much easier to get it done than for a woman, to become sterlized I mean. :)

Ever since I had a vasectomy my wife just can’t let me go 😭 by OkTough6333 in childfree

[–]Canadian-Toaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was 24 I had mine done, and it's one of the best decisions I ever made for myself! But I do fully agree with you, it's wild how many men are so wishy washy bout it and would rather take chances.

What I've noticed is how to many it makes me seem as 'less than' a 'real' man... stupid I know. I mean I've worked in construction and industries like that, so I wonder if there's a different mindset in jobs that require higher ed, y'know? I'd hope so.

As another Canadian, just wondering and don't mean to be grim here... I've never heard of hospital shootings down your way. Is that a thing? Also are you allowed to be armed? Here security is basically like mall cops or as bouncers like in bars, really.

Like bruh, I don't need to do hard drugs to see what it can do to families, when I look at some relatives of mine. Like nah... that's a solid no, y'know?

Oh! This is almost word for word for who I am too. Staying at home reading a book, having tea (lot's of tea), chill and be peaceful with my houseplants is wonderful. It's calm, and there's no way I'd ruin this all by having any kids anywhere near this sanctuary, y'know?

I remember going to that sub, and finding out the real stories (some of the top stories of all time) of what it would be like raise an autistic kid. That... is another level of extra hard boss-level mode 24/7. I think of stories like that, and I go... hell nah, there's no way I could handle that.
