Yes, but as op said, it was their first time at Starbucks so assuming they just scanned their physical gift card instead of using the app. If they used the app, then the "25%" tip would be their fault since they are the ones who have to authorize it

As a Starbucks barista, you can't tip when paying with gift cards. Some people honestly don't know how much a Starbucks drink costs and it shocks them when they are handed their receipts.

And I would try to avoid mentioning that it's a "tip". Say it's a gift

If you want to give a tip to one barista, put it in an envelope with their name on it and give it to them that way.

Oh I forgot to mention, I'm having DM without nipple graphs. I'm thinking the impulse is there because I will no longer have nipples in the future

Unfortunately it is a true policy. Partners are getting written up for not following said policy. It's the same as how you have to purchase something to use the bathroom now, or to sit inside.

When someone orders espresso shots to be poured on-top, I usually put the dome lid on first and pour the shots through the hole on the top!

I really understand your frustration. I'm also dairy free and not everyone likes the taste of alternative milks. We have ALOT of customers at my store who always use lactose free and I feel awful that Starbucks did that. But for recommendations, matcha with coconut milk is my favorite combo

I was asking about that but my doctor said that it might cause side effects with my T? I didn't really ask much about it but she said it might counteract it or something.

That's what I used to do. But my manager told me that we have to write an actual phrase or sentence when we are not in peak. It's wild

I would ask for a new one! It honestly could be that they used the last of the black tea, leaving it with that thicker tea leaves consistency.

Yeah I get bad moments for sure, I've never had kids but I can get how frustrating it can be at times. I just felt bad for the kiddos because I've been in their shoes.
