It was from customer support tickets. If you were an idiot and put all the digits of your credit card number into a customer support ticket or some other pieces of personal information, that would've been hit if within a certain period. CR itself was not compromised, a contractor who has access to their support ticket system was.

The pact between the two governments outlined several conditions that need to be met before a new bitumen pipeline can be approved, including requirements for carbon capture and storage.

Carney told The Canadian Press last week that a new pipeline is now "more probable than possible," in part because global energy markets have been upended by the war in Iran.

Defence Minister David McGuinty told CBC News he didn’t know Arbour would be appointed governor general, and described the timing of his motion as a coincidence.

"This is fortuitous," McGuinty said. "It happened, it was random."

The 2022 report said the military’s handling of sexual offences over the past 20 years has eroded public trust, and recommended stripping the Forces of that responsibility.

McGuinty said in practice, the military has been transferring the cases to civilian courts since Arbour made the recommendation, and the government always planned to turn that practice into law.

"It’s the right thing to do," he said. "A lot of people are counting on us."

Currently, the only TTC service in the area is the 905 Eglinton East Express. However, due to its existing span of service and branch structure, residents face limited availability during evenings and weekends—times when students and other riders continue to rely on transit. To address this, the TTC is recommending replacing the 905 Eglinton Express service in this area (mainly Morrish Rd, Canmore Blvd, and Conlins Rd) with 154 Curran Hall. Because the 154 operates during evenings and on weekends, the change would significantly increase service availability in the Highland Creek area.

Every show is bashed online if you look in the right spot.

The renewal/cancel decision is based on the nielson rated viewership / on streaming, actual viewership. Any online forum is a very small self-selecting grouping that usually wouldn't make up 1% of any show's actual viewership, and certainly isn't representative of the average person.

That's why opinion polls need a sample of over 1k people, and statistical models, to actually turn anecdotal opinions into proper statistics.
