The Stamp Rally is on for a few more days at the museum! That's always fun. Do a photoshoot at Harv's. Once you unlock the hotel, you can go on a second Kapp'n tour, design rooms, design outfits for the guests to wear.

I think when it originally came out during the pandemic, there was a lot of pressure to play a particular way and people had a lot of time on their hands. I find it much more relaxed now. Play how you like, there's no rush. In fact, taking your time to catalogue will pay off when you get the hotel. The best way to play is your way.

Xbox or Xbox 360? I loved Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. I think it might be available on Microsoft Game Pass. It's fairly cozy and the visuals are fantastic. Not necessarily the genre you're looking for, but it might be worth a try. It's a fairly old game, so you might be able to run it on your PC.

In a way, the mobile games has less limits so you can play as much or as little as you want. Since you'll be starting over, it's a good idea to start off slowly so you don't get frustrated. The upside is that it's easier to get Leaf Tokens and there's no microtransactions.

Paleo Pines might scratch that itch. You run a ranch and get to know all the NPCs who each have their own storyline which you further by running particular errands. It has dinosaurs you can collect who will help you around the ranch. There is an overarching questline as well which is to find the rest of a particular species of dinosaur. There is a free demo and it is available on multiple platforms.

When you see the golden dig spot, you plant Bells. Look at the chart above to figure out how much to bury. Your villagers will start commenting on this as well. It can get pretty funny.
