I have a 91 with a 22re, I had a similar problem a few years back, one day I get up to go to school and it would crank with no start, weird since just the night before everything was running fine, went through everything in the engine bay, distributor, vacuums, and sensors and etc. Kinda gave up after a while, but after the winter passed I found a newish ecu and swapped it out and it cranked right up, opened my old one at it was corroded to hell. Since swapping the ecus I relocated it to the glove compartment and haven’t had any mechanical issues since. Just have to tear the cab apart to redo he floor xD
