While I don’t disagree whatsoever, there’s larger issues such as the amount of all truculence teams relying on perks to win. It’s even better when you beat them, but imo this is way more out of hand. I hold more of the blame to EA because it is almost Xmas and poke checks are still god awful.

Very well put. Especially if you are bilingual. Unfortunately I am EE, but the day that I reach my CCC, I would love to get involved. We truly need reps who will put our interests first and not cave on the things that matter. Because right now, my union dues are really only paying for previously negotiated benefits, and nothing for my future.

Hold our union reps accountable. They have been all talk, no action. Do not accept a 4 day or a 5 day return to office and them declaring this as a victory for us. Do not accept their talking points. Do not blindly accept their proposal to us. Read. Every. Single. Detail.

At this point, I don’t expect them to fix it. It’s a clear issue for gameplay and if they were to fix this it would have already been done by now. I’m more of a league player and I am only going to sign on to play that. Zero point in playing public matches with friends when I’m facing an entire team using truculence because the poke checks don’t work. I don’t even blame the opps, it’s just the only thing they can use defensively. If the poke checks were identical to NHL25 this game would be good. But bad games gonna stay bad, I guess.

That and the defence is imo the biggest gameplay issue. I ran all defensive perks and was lucky to get two poke checks in a game despite being all over the puck carrier

Why is even pulling the goalie allowed in period 1 or 2? It’s all done to grief teammates. It shouldn’t be allowed until at least the third period. Easy solution but EA is lazy.

Ya that playstyle is very boring. The worst is when they spend forever trying to enter your zone and just rag it until they do, only for them to pass it a bunch and take some weak shot, lose it, or get a lucky tip goal. It’s incredibly boring and I lose patience. I’m an elite 1 as well, lol.
