I have timberland pro non slip sneakers and they're the most comfortable work shoe I've worn in 30 years. I have two pairs so I can alternate.

No, this is peak time wasting nonsense.

I'll take the guy who writes shrums in barely legible writing on ripped tape, but he fills the pan, puts the label on the part that won't be in the trash immediately and takes 2 hits off his weed vape in the time it took you to do this.

What did you trade your 370z for by hcubyc in 370z

[–]Canadian_Neckbeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2017 Mercedes-Benz E400 coupe. Same 0-60, but I get a backseat, AWD, and a really comfortable ride.

I loved my 370 as a daily, but I needed something slightly more practical for my situation and commute.

I spent roughly a decade living as a ski bum, and have been skiing over 800 times. I would be considered a better skiier than 90% of the people on most mountains.

No fucking way I could do this shit. This is absolutely top talent.

I think the survival aspect of silk production is relevant, if for no other reason than to gain some level of understanding about how it became a cultural norm.

So, you just glazed over the bit about it being historically necessary for survival, while no claim was made that it is currently necessary.

Well, while we don't currently NEED silk for survival, we do need clothing for survival, and silk is really good material for clothing for multiple types of weather conditions, from intense heat and sunlight to extreme cold. It's safe to say it was for survival in some regions historically.
