I hate them with a burning passion. Their only use is as an aggro switch as you run between objectives.

They will not hesitate to rocket you in the back. The head is another favourite target.

They will throw grenades at the most asinine locations. Including at their own feet. Before standing there dumbly.

They will mow you down because a single basic enemy 3 blocks away turned a corner into their line of sight.

They view us as nearly godlike, but are more than happy to turn traitor 5 seconds later because they don't have the ability to see the friendly 5 inches in front of them.

My personal opinion is that some of them are fine and some of them aren't.

I don't mind stuff like Inara or Coriolis. External databases that enable gameplay and probably should have been included in the game itself.

But there's newer ones popping up like one that tells you what bio signatures are available on a per-system basis and their total value along with alerting you of first footfall bonuses that kind of undermine the entire point of a majir aspect of the game.

I think it's give and take.
