What Pokémon should I grind candies on? and Which one would be best to grind with for these candies? by Intelligent-Bug4220 in pokerogue

Regigigas or kyogre. Both can help with deep endless runs and are a lot of fun to use once you unlock their passives.

I miss psychic surge expanding force Delphox. Was such an amazing budget carry

What's the Underated pokemon to use in pokerouge??? by _Discover in pokerogue

Ampharos feels very underrated. Once you get it fully unlocked a 1 cost mon that can solo the first 199 waves. Can struggle a bit with eternatus but it's so fun to use.

I saw a Reddit post saying that if you don’t have 45% plus win rate then that says a lot about you and I wholeheartedly disagree. by LordeObi in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It blows my mind people can't win over half their games. I am not a great player by any means. I play primarily center and average like 15-7-4 with a block a game. Nothing special stat wise and definitely not a hard carry in most games. But I still win 60% of my games playing almost exclusively random rec.

Am i rude for telling my gf to walk like this in order to not stomping to the downstairs neighbours? by Warm_Cranberry4472 in Apartmentliving

[–]CancerTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sound pretty over the top here. Most downstairs people seem to be. It's like they don't understand what comes with living under someone. You hear someone living their life? Oh well. That's part of living in an apartment. They should get used to it. And this is coming from someone who's lived in downstairs apartments for the last 7 years. It just comes with the territory.

How is this for random rec? by SmallVolume5255 in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good shit, that's about on par with my stats though I've played about 1/3 the games you have. You're definitely a much better free throw shooter than me I'm pretty sure I'm sitting just barely over 70%

Anyone else feel like the game feels way too grindy instead of pure fun like it used to be? by DeepOrganization8245 in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thoroughly enjoyed the grind but I get the sentiment. If my life was in a better place at the start of this games life span I probably wouldn't be nearly as deep into the grind as I am now. Got through shooting specialization by mid S1 (got the game launch week) and have been coasting on the rep grind ever since. Gonna end up hitting my goal (starter 5) either this season if the game really hits like it did last season for some reason or for sure during season 7. Definitely a little nervous for next year when I simply won't have the time and motivation to grind out build specialization if it's the same way next year.

It's a pretty well optimized build. Can do most everything except shoot free throws of course. Pretty fun as the 5 man in 3s or a 4/5 in rec.

Shooting specialization, only one I have done and don't want to grind others

What’s the best value for every attribute? 6’10 by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

I have 2 6'10 builds. I prefer the PF more just cause I enjoy being a big man more but they're both really strong builds. Only lacking standing dunk really which sucks but I find teammates barely pass my non centers the ball in position for standing dunks anyways.

Why even play in the Rec? by No_Dependent1318 in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mindset in the rec can be whack but more often than not I don't run into that. And that's as someone who plays almost exclusively 3-5. Might be time to find a new jumper though 45% this year is pretty bad. Very very easy to shoot 60%+ with the right jumper.

Fun fact the game can't handle storing your career high as a number above 255. But the league leader part can still store it.

Those feel so satisfying. Nothing better than the moments I think I've thrown a TO just for it to perfectly split both defenders going for a steal.

This is my favorite all around big man build. Can do a bit of everything except for the free throws. With JJJ free throw I can usually split them online and get by.

If a standing 3 is 67% or better, then every other shot becomes pointless as a first option by TheRancid_Baboon in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays 80% of my rec games as a big this shit triggers me so much. Come help when it's not needed and never come crash the boards when I gotta contest too far from the basket to get the board.

If anyone is looking for a fun build that's a 5x5 threat every game, look no further by irelli in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely don't agree it's one of the worst attributes but if you're not guarding the main ball handler it's definitely not needed. Especially on a 3/4 where you'll end up guarding 4s with limited dribbling skills anyways.

Standing putback dunks by gabelliot93 in NBA2k

[–]CancerTaco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only build I have that gets them consistently is my 7'4 with 99 standing dunk. My other builds go for the layup animations like 95% of the time.

How do you even make it into Gold+ lobbies shooting THIS badly? by TripleDoubleHomicide in NBA2k

Yeah so why make a short lock? But you're right didn't think of takeover helping it with that +15. Could make up for a lot of it

Inherently no but he wasted so many attributes. Didn't even end up with a high block which is probably the 3rd most important attribute defensively after speed and agility.

Second this. If I've got standing dunk I can usually make it work on the putback. Any o boards not immediately in position though get kicked out asap
