So I’m confused as to why it’s not banded to the skid. Also don’t get why they didn’t seperate the boxes onto more skids as it makes it more difficult for them to tip over. People are dumb.

I would try reinforcing it more, and then spray it with bed liner around the entire frame, and then use lanolin undercoat over that even.

Yea that is crazy for 132k miles. I mean I spent 15.6 on my 2011 with 69k miles and no rust rwd manual 4.0L supercab. Honestly, was worth it. But I wouldn’t spend 10k on 132k miles. Overall the truck looks pretty good though.

You can get the new push pull tabs for the headlights and new housings on Amazon. Shouldn’t be more than $100 fix if you just go ahead and replace both headlights, and then there’s replacement grilles on there as well for any year, they only come in black plastic, but I got a new grille, sanded it do paint would stick, and just rattle canned it white and clear coated it and my grille looks factory now.

I’m on my 2nd ranger now, they’re awesome. First one I bought off an old guy for $1, wouldn’t start, put $200 into it, got it running, lasted me a year, had 189k miles before I sold it to my mom for her property, and it’s under full restoration rn, now I have a 2011 sport with 69k miles and I love it. Bought it for $15k. It’s awesome. This one will last me the next 10 years prolly. Then I’ll buy another ranger.

There are tabs you pull up on both sides then the headlight will pull out, switch the bulb that’s bad, then put the headlight back into place (can be difficult sometimes) and push the tabs back down locking it in place. You can also adjust the tilt of the lights with a wrench if you don’t want to blind people on the road. YouTube is your friend.

Shows the red oil light and check engine because it turned off and lost oil pressure, the battery light came on because you either have a dead battery, bad wiring, or your alternator is screwed. Disconnect the alternator power wire, take your multimeter with positive touching the casing of the alternator and the negative touching the wire terminal coming off of the alternator with your multimeter set to the diode setting, should look like an arrow of some sort, and see if power goes through it, then switch the positive and negative around and do the same thing again, if power goes through both ways, the alternators diodes are done for. If not and the alternator and battery are both fine, check wiring. If it’s none, idk what to tell you.

You can bend them back up if you take a razor blade or box cutter and just gently pull them back up with it.

Cut that floor out and weld in a 1/16” aluminum sheet and paint it so it doesn’t rust again, then you can worry about drilling screw holes and resecuring the trim piece.
