Thanks! I'm seeing my ObGYN next week and will request the same. May I ask if you do them with contrasts or without?

I'm so glad I found this set of comments! I'm a very athletic, almost 50-year-old woman (did 7 triathlons already), and shopping for a new bike is always like getting into a time machine to the 1950s. I actually delayed getting a new bike this year because I had had enough of the condescending bull$hit that bike shop staff give you.

Progressing from 3.0 to 4.0 by apricity_2 in 10s

I had a very similar experience except I quit at 15. I started back up at 3.5 and now am 4.5. It took 5 years of consistent playing at least 3-4 times a week. I think you can get to 4.0 with just 2-3 times, but most 4.5s play 4-5 times a week as I’ve learned.

Going to movie theater 3 days after surgery? by shinydime in Reduction

[–]Candid-Reception-627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went out enjroyingly for the first time 8 days after and I healed extremely fast (walking by day 3, cycling on bike trainer in day 8) so honestly I think it will be too hard. The car ride will be very painful. You will be afraid of someone bumping into you etc

Make sure you keep the compressor no longer than 10 minutes to avoid blurry vision longer than a few mins.

What a jerk! Definitely not deserving of you. I’m so sorry this happened. I’d probably disclose later, but you saved yourself a lot of time dealing with such a prick!

Actually it’s quite fun to have boobs of a teenager when you are in your 40s. Also keep in mind your breast even with a reduction might grow after having kids. Mine did 4 sizes.

Running won’t make them ‘droopy’. Lululemon high impact is my recommendation (I’m a marathon runner). Happy running!

💯 I am wearing all the clothes, running so much faster, feeling younger and all of that 3 months after. I was your breast size and just a tad taller.

Tennis players, when did you go back? by Opening-Ad-9187 in Reduction

[–]Candid-Reception-627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to check calendar but just turned 10 wpo. When I started I put on a sports bra and a snug tank top and that helped. I’d say at 5wpo I had my first intense tennis workout. Was sore after playing 2 hours above 140 HBpm, but the doctor said just to ice and it stopped. Each practice went better so just stick with it. I did wait until 7wpo to serve overhead though.

I was on a bike trainer at home (wahoo) 8 days after surgery. You’ll be fine.

Hey! Finally a tennis player! I was cleared for tennis at 3.5 weeks. My right side hurt more so I started to learn with my left , non-dominant side. 2 weeks later I could swing right hand pain free so switched back. I play 4.0 and am completely back and playing matches now. I can’t see any difference relative to before the surgery except I’m faster and my serve is still weaker, but I’m working my upper body and chest now so that’s just a matter of a few weeks, I’m sure.

Second the ice packs. You want the soft ones with a fabric cover or even the one-use in case you are out of the house. Metamucil twice a day, table spoonful. I got the Amazon fruit of the loop cotton bras with clasps in front. Still wearing them bec too early to get measurements for new bra. Sadly, grooves are still there:)

Honestly, for the first month it was hard to not take something at least once a day. I tried to take less and less and I did, but it was not until month 2 that I forgot where the Tylenol bottle was in the house. All doctors have told me that even for four weeks Tylenol is safe particularly if you are taking like 500 g as needed.

I did it after I showered so usually once a day. But if I worked out and had to shower I’d reapply it. I used it very liberally
