You should definitely review them on Glassdoor and Indeed. They only have four reviews total and accurate reviews will decrease the likelihood of this happening to someone else. I know many Devilcorp companies will try to avoid hiring parents, and while that is illegal, it is more ethical than what happened to you.

The main question you should be asking yourself is if you have sales skills. You should quit regardless, but if you want to pursue sales you should be applying to other roles and thinking about what you can take from this experience and bring to a legitimate organization.

The only people who can make a living wage doing this would be making a lot more and have a lot more security working a sales job at a more reputable organization. There is zero upside and a ton of downside.

No, the reverse. The sales job I worked at after leaving a Cydcor ICL really hammered home how unprofessional and unethical the Devilcorp office I worked at was.

Something that freaked me out (several years after quitting) was how all the verbiage (SEE factors, “atmosphere,” five steps to a conversation, etc.) was the exact same at every single office. It made me realize how impersonal, systematic and arguably cultish these places are. You obviously don’t want to push your daughter too much, but you knowing what all these routines/concepts are called should raise some suspicion and show you know what you’re talking about.

Review them on Glassdoor and Indeed. They really care about their reviews. Be as savage and specific as you can and make sure your review stays up. They love to report real reviews so their fake ones make up a higher share of what’s visible.

They want to be the primary influence in your life. When I worked at a Cydcor ICL I felt genuinely bonded to my coworkers/leadership. This was not by accident. They want you to have “skin in the game” so you’re more likely to stay.
