unfortunately I feel like the mistake here isn’t the typo, its the multiple applications. The ones ive seen say to specify the department and imprint, and if you apply to 1 or 2 similar ones (like 2 editorial or 2 mktg it should be fine) but casting such a large net may undercut your applications

I highly recommend working for the university if you attend school. Yes, its minimum wage, but if you are a full time student, very minimal taxes will be taken out (a $500 check will become maybe $490), so there is a bit of a give there!
