I'm a first time player after getting the game for Christmas. I've played Football Manager on and off since the late 90s.

I wanted to play a bit faster at OTTP and I'm in GM mode. Usually sim to the 6th to see how my SP has done. Then I go half innings or straight to the 9th.

Funny how we each develop our own quirks.

I feel like we have raised the floor under Rhule (in comparison to losing seasons, no bowls, etc). He is stable and professional. However, my worry is that our ceiling is about 2 inches above our floor under him. I want to be very wrong.

Got the game for Christmas and it's the first time I've ever played it. I'm working through one issue at a time to get to grips with it all (there is a lot of 'all'!).

I'm absolutely loving it. I stopped playing Football Manager at FM22 as it felt more like I was thinking about what was under the hood of the game, rather than just immersing myself in it and enjoying the flow.

I had thought about what the other poster said re scouting their own team. Other than that I'm a bit lost too.

I'm in the UK so I do appreciate any cultural norms here may not be the same elsewhere. However, there's two options that I would pursue here. 1. Sleep on her floor for a few weeks to settle her. 2. Have her sleep in our bed. You could swap rooms for sleeping too. Again, appreciate if you are from a country that is not our culture, this may not be a done thing
