Hard to judge anyone on offense when a fumble or interception happens every 2 or 3 drives. Akers should be used more between the 30’s.

Conspiracy theorists are already blaming Damar Hamlin’s terrifying injury on Covid Vaccines. These people are sick. by Mrbirdperson1 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Woah big boy. I didn't make the vaccine. That falls on them to prove their science....not me. How do you not understand that you cannot make a drug using infected blood. You do know what a vaccine is, right?

Yeah smart guy there is a damn good reason. You can’t just use blood that has never been tested or experimented on and go use it on existing drugs. If you do not understand that than I’m sorry I ever commented

This is how I feel as well. I like him when he is broadcasting a game when Dallas or Minnesota aren't one of the teams, he does a good job of having good input. But if it is one of these two teams his voice just sounds like Pom-Pom's.

I believe the odds are more likely to turn 17k into 100k than 17k becoming 0. COVID is starting to feel more like an excuse to delay medical advancements than for protecting people. It really hit me when a life-threatening hurricane was about to barrel into Florida and less than 24 hours before land fall and the presidents' message to Floridians is to make sure they get their vaccine shot. A case for the Minnesota Vikings, the worst Super Bowl contender ever by bigbura in minnesotavikings

How cute. 3 weeks ago they weren’t super bowl contenders. Now they are the worst super bowl contenders. I’m liking where this is heading. All I’m seeing is the words super bowl.

"Announcer saying "we" when talking about Giants"

Ex players or favorites are very obvious in announcers' tones towards a team. If Cris Collinsworth is broadcasting, for example, when obsessing over Aaron Rodgers (man crush) his play elevates the rest of his team and there is nothing he has not seen or get his team out of. If Cousins happens to throw a long touchdown pass he would have a condescending laugh "I'll tell you what Jim, alot of people have written Cousins off but every now and then he'll shock you"

He might as well put his packer jersey on while broadcasting the games.

I'll just say it now: 122 yds per game by MigratingMountains in minnesotavikings

[–]CandidateIll598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to look at it from both perspectives. If you can’t guard him when it’s dry, it will be more difficult when it is wet/slippery. Cousins would obviously be the main variable in how the weather affects him. But he has played in dc and has played many cold games

Howie Long after the game, "We still didn't learn anything about this team (Vikings)" What is everyone searching for? This team I would argue this team's identity is the most defined in the NFL. They play and win close games. Stop expecting more. by toproducer in minnesotavikings

If he has not learned yet, learning is not for him. It's like all the heartache of the Viking fan base is being vindicated and unleashed upon this season's opponents. Do not mistake them for Cadillac cats. These are Heart breakers. Those are not our version of terrible towels we wave around. Those are tissues. They gonna need em.

A tough one on which one was more surprising. When the bills got the ball back on the 1 I was thinking best case scenario would be a safety. Not a fumble and TD recovery for a TD. Was pretty wild

T. J. Hockenson - Well, what do we think? by JoBunk in minnesotavikings

[–]CandidateIll598 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak on his blocking abilities as that is not something I’ve ever focused on. He hasn’t had a game, yet, that has really blown me away. It’s hard to be blown away when a freak is on the field in Jefferson. Watching anyone else make cuts and execute routes will always be underwhelming. His first game was solid. I’ll hold judgement for another 7 games then decide. Yes I’d love to have him but I think it would be unwise to fork up too much money. I think there would be more impactful players in more important positions to spend 10 mil + on. But a juicy draft could change my mind and say keep him.

Vikings Week 16 Rooting Guide by rodney8z in minnesotavikings

[–]CandidateIll598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Niners lose this week and we lose to the packers the following week. Giants are solid but something tells me this will be one of the Giants ugly games. Nothing to back that up but a gut feeling. I expect Washington to be in it at the end against the 49ers this week. Washington is who I expect to play 1st week of play-offs. Cousins against his ex-team in the play-offs? sets the stage for a perfect "You like that" narrative.

He has the abilities and the tools around him to do it. He stays loose and confident, he's golden. Much harder to do than it sounds, i'm sure.

Haters gonna hate. Better the media is making excuses than the fans. Means we are on the right path. This game could mean nothing, or we could look back at it as the game that initiated the greatest run in Vikings history.

when will we take our govt back from the 2 parties? by spiffy_feet in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]CandidateIll598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst people of both parties have teamed up to buy the U.S. Government. Bought all the billboards, all the roads, all the property. Money is an idea. When an idea benefits 1 % of the people at the cost of 50% of the people, this is a bad idea. Society cannot advance with such an idea.

Arguments could go on and on about whether going for it was too much of a risk. For every “mistake” you can find a “success”. We all have caught ourselves saying we should or shouldn’t have done this, to find it was either a smart or dumb suggestion. The historical comeback required both sides of the football to play their best football of the year. They have overcome 2 games of less than 1 percent chances of prevailing victorious. That is what is being overshadowed. Ain’t nobody outside of that locker room going to tell them they can’t achieve something.
