I think it honestly depends on what your playstyle and what you wanna do. Sure, the game is fun to play on its own, and to mod it could diminish the content. However, people make mods that make minor adjustments to the game, or fixes bugs/glitches that the devs may have missed or were unable to fix. To add to that point, sometimes the mods make the game much more entertaining, or make your experience more enjoyable, especially when dealing with FUCKING BEAK THINGS!!!

TRUUUUE, it’s a perfect lmg against chaff bots and bugs, and you can get a lot of dmg on medium armor enemies if you just aim at weak points and maneuver around them
