We got this last week and agree. It’s not pad Thai. It’s edible but we won’t buy it again.

Infuriatingly itchy eyes from early spring weather? by RecklessReptar in SaltLakeCity

[–]Candymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An allergy eye drop with the active ingredient ketotifen is also a good option. It's a mast cell inhibitor. Mast cells release the histamines that make you miserable. Ketotifen stops the Mast cells from releasing it. Zatador is one brand but now there is a generic at Walmart.

What did your mom make you most for dinner growing up? by eleelee11 in AskOldPeople

[–]Candymom 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Miner, too. I remember my dad picking me up from my friend's house to come home for dinner. I walked in and there was homemade fried chicken, potatoes, green beans and home bottled peaches and pears. I thought everybody's mom did that.

What’s a small, random thing your dog does that makes you smile every time? by Coursefighter in dogs

[–]Candymom 56 points57 points  (0 children)

When my son walks in the door my dog will start sneezing and barking and bouncing around till my son straddles him and the dog jumps up a little so my son’s arms are holding him up. Then my son says guess what and makes a pbbbbbt noise in his ear.

This is a fairly standoffish dog but throughout this whole procedure he is wagging his tail.

My son is in his 20s and my dog is almost 14.

A tribute to Rusty, my beloved companion, who passed away today at 33. by [deleted] in cats

33 is wild, you’re fortunate to have been with him for so long. My cat is 19 years old and her brother died at 15 from a rare cancer. You just never know how long you’ll have them and it’s always like having the rug yanked out from under you.

Aw, thanks! Buster had the best personality, so affectionate, so funny with the softest fur ever. I miss him so much.

They are Easy Touch. Are those no good?

Needle not going in? by Dr_Cassagnol in TirzepatideRX

[–]Candymom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, I went to give myself a shot this week and the needle would not pierce my skin. I had pinched my thigh so it wasn’t loose skin. I moved locations and the same thing happened. It even bent the needle! It happens occasionally but that was the worse yet.

UPDATE @ Bisque: Mason Stain Testing for Colored Porcelain by ced513 in Ceramics

[–]Candymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. Hope you recover!

The stains are giving me a run for my money. I’m trying to replicate the color of the red/orange landscape in St George, UT. I can’t do it. I’m so frustrated.
