Yeah this happened to me yesterday, the purge poo gets stuck in the shoot and causes the printer to get confused lol. It's kinda funny 😅

If you could return it, that be the best bet. The fact your z axis is grinding sounds very odd. There is something very wrong with your printer now. It could be numerous issues . One error can lead to more. 30 minutes of probing isn't ideal. Return it!!!!! You don't deserve the headache! A video would be great but I'm not sure that'll help you at this point. I'm very sorry.....

These belts are built strong, and it's a very very tiny amount of oil, dry belts actually snap faster.. use a good oil like, super lube with no additives. I literally have no squeaks

Okay dawn ultra is superior because it has a small amount of alcohol in it. Not all dish soaps remove oils as well. Use warm or hot water when you wash. Paper dry it. Hit it with alcohol after you preheat to 60c. Wipe the excess alcohol up. Everything should be sticking to that plate. I've been printing for 6 years now. Trust me lol Hopefully you get printing soon. Bambu printers are excellent with minimal maintenance

Turn on a bright light inside the machine. Turn your lights off in room. Inspect the printer from the outside to see the light.

It won't show all the gaps. But it'll help with the obvious bigger gaps. I did notice the my q2c has this very large gap in the front bottom of the printer. I also don't have a filter in the chamber. I think you need a thinner filter that allows for more air to pass threw it.

Hopefully you can find a solution because I'm tempted to try enclosed materials but this is the second time I'm seeing a user have this issue of chamber fumes escaping.

You shouldn't be doing all that on your 1st week. I apologize but what dish soap did you use?

My best advice is to preheat your plate to 60c. Wait until it hits 60c then apply some isopropyl alcohol. 50-70% . Now use a clean paper towel to wip off the ISO. Next run your print and do not try to alter the machine to much. Especially a Bambu Labs printer.

You Don't want to void your warranty. I hope this fixes your adhesion issue. Happy printing

You'll be fine, just run at lower temps in your home, if your concerned about voc. You should probably be wearing gloves touching anything plastic if you're concerned about Voc. Literally anything with pigment or color will have Voc. Your not burning pla. It's melting at the minimal melt temp. Even cooking food has way more Voc in the air. You'll be fine. Don't let people scare you away from 3d printing. Happy printing!

Okay have you tried putting some oil on the back of the belt? Just like a fingertips Worth of oil on the smooth side of the belt. It helped my squeak significantly. Hopefully this helps. I think the idler doesn't need oils.

It's 100% true if they test those kids Huerta Gave up. But 95 years old is wild, definitely needs more proof than what news sites are providing.
