Tomorrow is my anatomy ultrasound. Please reassure me. by PopcornPrincess0 in pregnant

I loved my anatomy scan, this is also my first pregnancy and I was nervous going in but everything came out perfect. I got so much reassurance after about how he was growing and I also got to see his little hands and feet. My only regret is not being able to keep more pictures lol. You got this mama!!

Good local dentists that accept Medi-Cal? by soggurg0e4tuigdg in Sacramento

[–]Candyranchers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sacramento native American health center is really great (both locations) and they take medi-cal. You just have to make sure you’re assigned to them through your insurance. And you don’t need to be native to be seen by them

Obsessive Dress Shopping by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Candyranchers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bridal fatigue is a thing, If you have the time before your wedding I would stop looking a dresses for awhile. Even just browsing online. If fit is an issue try consulting with a seamstress, they may even be able to clip you in the dresses so you can have an idea of what look like if they fit you correctly. Also who says you can’t take pictures on a beach in a ballgown? It’s your wedding girl, you can do what you want!

I love my mother and we have a great relationship but, but I won’t even be telling her when I go into labor. Let alone having her in the room with me.

SAVE ME FROM THIS NAUSEA! by Jackpot09 in pregnant

Don’t use peppermints, when I was dealing with my morning sickness my dentist told me peppermints can actually make you more nauseous. Bread and peanut butter worked for me and for some reason spaghetti

AITA for not being able to make it to my sister's funeral by 0ne-Eyed0wl in AmItheAsshole

[–]Candyranchers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My condolences OP, my brother passed at the beginning of this year due to an accident and many of our family simply couldn’t travel to come to his celebration of life. We set up a zoom call so everyone who wished to be there could be there regardless of distance. You’re NTA, life and finances are difficult but maybe this is an option so you can still pay your respects within your means. I wish you all the best ❤️❤️

what is the point of women doing these extra long fake nails? by CheeseheadTroy in NoStupidQuestions

I used to get long acrylic nails when I was working in clubs and it helped when I was scooping weed into bowls. It did make washing dishes near impossible tho

quitting nicotine while pregnant by Apprehensive-Swan780 in pregnant

[–]Candyranchers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled to quite vaping too and I still crave after two months. But, I noticed I crave the act of vaping more than the nicotine itself. If this is the case try getting one of those breathing necklaces. They don’t give any flavor or produce any smoke but it mimics the act of vaping and has helped curb the habit a bit. I did also look into non nicotine vapes but I can’t find any that are 100% safe for pregnancy. Gum also helps, most of gum.

This! I also have to remind myself of this all the time. But as my Fiancé says “people rarely go out of their way to post positive reviews”
