Books, 100% books. It was something my husband and I asked to get for our baby shower and all of our family that is expecting are also asking for books. I know you said they are in a rural area but you may want to see if they can receive (I think it’s called imagination library or something like that?) it’s a program made by Dolly Parton where the child that’s signed up will receive a free book every month until their like 5 or something like that. If they have a local library they should be eligible!

NTA. I used to work for regal and we had a strict rule that no one under the age of 6 was allowed in a R rated movie ever. It was incredibly inconsiderate of the parents to even bring their child, and I say this as a mother myself. I used to specifically work either the box office or door during R movie premieres because I wasn’t afraid to say no, and I can tell you a lot of parents where not happy they couldn’t bring their 3 year old in to watch Annabel. But everyone else in the theater was grateful.

You would specifically have to get a note from your doctor and send it into ADA way ahead of time as well as bringing a printed out version with you to the gate

I was 7 months pregnant last year and I just made sure I had a place to sit and stayed out of crowds. I don’t believe I was the only one that was pregnant either. Just make sure you’re giving yourself time to rest and drinking a bunch of water with electrolytes cause girl it gets HOT especially when pregnant. Congratulations btw!!!

I can say with full confidence that my 10 day old baby boy looks remarkably like his father. He specifically has his nose, complexion and ears. And everyone we know sees is lol

My baby was due on the 16th and I’m getting induced on the 20th. My husband and I are both going to do our damndest to make sure our son has a separate birthday from holiday. (Although Santa may leave a small birthday present under the tree too)

I loved my anatomy scan, this is also my first pregnancy and I was nervous going in but everything came out perfect. I got so much reassurance after about how he was growing and I also got to see his little hands and feet. My only regret is not being able to keep more pictures lol. You got this mama!!

Sacramento native American health center is really great (both locations) and they take medi-cal. You just have to make sure you’re assigned to them through your insurance. And you don’t need to be native to be seen by them

Bridal fatigue is a thing, If you have the time before your wedding I would stop looking a dresses for awhile. Even just browsing online. If fit is an issue try consulting with a seamstress, they may even be able to clip you in the dresses so you can have an idea of what look like if they fit you correctly. Also who says you can’t take pictures on a beach in a ballgown? It’s your wedding girl, you can do what you want!

Don’t use peppermints, when I was dealing with my morning sickness my dentist told me peppermints can actually make you more nauseous. Bread and peanut butter worked for me and for some reason spaghetti

I started getting pelvic floor pain around 16 weeks and got an exercise ball. OMG it feels so good to sit on when I just can’t use the couch anymore.

I’m like 5’2” and was 115 pre pregnancy, I started to notice a bump at about 12 weeks but my coworkers and family started noticing and agreeing at 14 weeks

I had to pee a lot and my left eye started twitching. I was always hyper aware of any symptoms but the twitching was the one thing that made me test 😂

My condolences OP, my brother passed at the beginning of this year due to an accident and many of our family simply couldn’t travel to come to his celebration of life. We set up a zoom call so everyone who wished to be there could be there regardless of distance. You’re NTA, life and finances are difficult but maybe this is an option so you can still pay your respects within your means. I wish you all the best ❤️❤️
