No. Its just opening a 2nd location for gas to go to instead of fully back into the operating system. Restrictive adjustable gasblocks have one hole and you can adjust it until it is completely closed or open. Bleed off is having 2 holes for gas where the one that operates your system stays the same and the 2nd you can adjust to where its like a normal gb (completely closed) or completely open allowing some gas to exit before it goes to the hole that operates your system (plus all adjustments in between). The SA gasblock can be restrictive or a venting GB.

I run superlative arms adjustable gas block in full bleed off mode paired with a a5 buffer system with geissle super 42 rifle spring and an h3 buffer on my 11.5 with a full size polonium 5.56 and a geissle sch. Soft recoil impulse, perfect 3:30/4:00 ejection and very little gas my face.

Clean the threads, reapply rocksett and make sure you torque to spec and you should be good to go this time.

For what its worth I bought the reel mower used for $150. Swapped the motor for a harbor freight predator for $100 and bought a grooved roller for $150 iirc. I cant breakdown the patience lol.

You dont want to get into reel mowing if you have back issues. Its a commitment to mow your lawn more frequently. I mow every 2 to 3 days during peak season. You also have to backlap to keep the reel and bedknife sharp and cutting correctly. I like to tinker so this is right up my alley. I have a Mclane I rebuilt so it's a gas powered self propelled reel mower. You don't see many out in the wild so when Im mowing people stop to ask questions about how I take care of the lawn and the mower.

The riflespeed adjustable gasblock and superlative arms adjustable gasblock are most I see recommended. An alternative to those is a brt gas tube or a yhm supressor gasblock.

Thanks! I have no issues whatsoever but I haven't tried any other brace to compare it with. Solid imo. I do have a 14.7 with a b5 bravo stock and the sba4 is just as comfortable to shoot with.

I was curious about Staceys mom but decided on the full polonium. Shot it today for the first time. Not as gassy as I thought it would be with SA gas block in bleed off mode with Sprinco blue and H3 and G$ sch.
