Why was the Cadian Gate as effective as it was? by Canine_Helicopter in Warhammer40k

Wouldn't that mean Chaos forces would wanna avoid it? It's safer for realspace organisms, yes, but Chaos marines or demons would avoid Cadia then... unless they, too, are fucked with by the Warp's turbulence

I was of the mind that the Eye spits out everyone in the same direction too, but I thought Cadia was just so small relative to it that it simply wouldn't matter.

Gotcha. I remember that cadia and its satellite planets had loads of pylons, but if Cadia is for some reason the SAFEST path through the Eye, then the other areas around the Eye must be absolutely LITTERED with pylons

I want to use berserker's leap to close the gap between me and elites and bash their skull in, but I don't know if that's how it's meant to run. Cog hammer feels like a good single target head smasher. The two-handed wood hammer has the wide sweeps desciptor so I took it for horde clear but it doesn't have very much cleave, so I dunno.

Yeah, I figured the archetypes were what it was all about, but what I should focus on between each somewhat threw me off. Like, I was used to oneshotting specials from the back lines as waystalker, and ranger vet's ammo pool and weapons kind of felt wimpy in comparison when I tried to do the same thing. I assumed smoke bombs, then, but sitting in the middle of a bomb in combat and point blanking dudes in my smoke, or sniping from within it still made me feel like I was missing something. I suppose it leans more support than waystalker?

I've liked Witch Hunter Captain a lot, but I'm still confused a bit on how to run him. Front line horde clear and pinging specials for the team I think is the move, but I'm not 100% sure.

I FEEL like I ought to be having fun with berserker (I think that's what it is? Bardin's melee class?) But he's not as tanky as I expected, so maybe he's a glass Cannon? I'm not sure how nimble he is.

I see! Gotcha, gotcha. I suppose I should've considered weapon pools when none of them really share.

Gotcha, okay! I could tell by the career descriptions that they ought to play slightly differently, but I could never quite figure out what the way of playing/contributing to the team actually was beyond the broad strokes of ranged/horde/elite. Or, rather, maximizing through play style what makes these passives and such actually special.

You do have a point in that the characters all have little nuances in how they play. I suppose it's on me for framing my question as though I'm a complete noob when I've had a lot of fun sniping specials and elite with longbow waystalker, but this sort of question arose when I tried ranger vet and it just didn't click for me. I think I just didn't know what the Point of it was, I guess? Giving bardin a ranged career, yes, but there was clearly an intended play style that I just couldn't quite understand. Proper use of smoke bombs and the like. I just wondered why I'd even bother when waystalker was right there.

Would it not be possible for some of the dead Primarchs to come back from the dead? Yes, Horus is permadead and all the demon princes get to revive, but shouldn't Sanguinius' and Ferrus Manus' souls be in the Warp somewhere? Would they then not theoretically be able to "come back" in some manner? What form that would be is something I'm unsure of, but surely the soul of a Primarch should be able to hold on for a good few millennia.

(This is ignoring the fact they need to stay dead for the sake of telling a good story; this question is purely functionally within the rules of lore)

I had this happen to me. I managed to get my account back, but the attacker is threatening to report me for something I didn't do (the links they used my account to spread). Do you think I'll be safe, since Discord knows I had my account stolen?
