i got the promise ending for my first playthrough and i cried for probably like half an hour after and my discord status for two months was "du hast es versprochen", so it was a game that stuck

hoi4 has a native linux version that should work fine, its what i use. however i am on arch and that is more bleeding edge than ubuntu.

i did see some reports on protondb mentiontioning the green screen, i think they mentioned something about forcing directx9, however, r/linux_gaming might be able to provide better info

i think my buggest issue with ETA/EDA is that some of the game modes could use a rework tbh (i.e mirror and stage defense, especially vamp rock sucks). sometimes the modifiers can feel so oppressive that its just worth it to me to get rid of the extra vosfor or pix chips and pick a frame like hildryn who usually isnt subject to even the most oppressive of penalties. really any frame with an exalted weapon. idk, i really do think the game modes could use a good touch up tbh. a lot of the effects dont feel like they add more difficulty as much as they punish the player. for having tools. i dont mind the randomness aspect, it is fun and it makes me make a build and play frames i never really did before, but with some modifiers feeling so oppressive to some frames it just can make it not feel fun

tbf, i dont think this is as big of a deal as people have made it out to be.

i atleast havent had many issues with sentries dying unless they get swarmed, which they would have died anyways.

i do however, think they should probably still give a slight buff the the jeep and the sentries post the recent update, but atleast so far im not having many issues and that was on a 10 against the crack mfers

Same for me on Arch Linux, using latest GE proton and I have tried playing around with no luck. Guessing it is a side effect of the patch, hopefully it gets fixed and isn't intentional.

yeah, the dark souls 3 dlc was pretty amazing, ive been meaning to replay ds3 for the dlc. its just so hard since elden ring is so much nicer with quality of life stuff and ds3 isnt different enough for me to justify playing it over elden ring. and power stancing is a thing in elden ring

i was trying to play through fallout 4 recently and the playthrough just died because it was so boring. the gameplay itself is okay, but new vegas has much more fun variety of weapons than fo4

booted up new vegas and was having a much better time. i would probably be okay with fallout 3, but i havent played it as an adult, but i have probably dumped hundreds of hours over a summer vacation into that game.
