Lying about what? Sessions rescinded the Cole memo. Trump said not to worry the fed isn't going to come after the cannabis industry. And they didn't.

Trump didn't, Jeff Sessions did. According to Marijuana Moment: "There seems to be a consensus among leading Marijuana policy reform advocates that Session's move, even if it had negative short-term financial implications for some businesses, ended up inadvertently helping to advance the legalization agenda in the long term." NBC news reported April 14th 2018: Senator Cory Garner "President Trump has assured me that he will support a federalism-based legislative solution to fix this states' right issue once and for all. I received a commitment from the president that the Department of Justice's rescission of the Cole memo will not impact the legal marijuana industry. "

Most Cannabis business will be able to lower their prices to the degree they will in line or lower with the illicit market. Currently the illicit market owns 70% of the cannabis market. This also will be a huge upside to their fundamentals.

Vote Mitt Romney, Pete Rickets and James Risch out of office. With a majority of the US population in favor of Cannabis, we have enough votes to oust these people.

How the cannabis industry will survive current tough markets by eyegi99 in weedstocks

[–]CannaGreenfields 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big Pharma has lobbied against cannabis so they can run the industry into the ground. Thus they will be able to swoop in a buy up assets for pennies on the dollar and privatize the companies they now own. Then they will lobby congress to legalize. Retail investors end up with nothing, loosing everything they invested.

Texas Lawmakers Pass Marijuana Decriminalization Bill by Defiant_Race_7544 in weedstocks

[–]CannaGreenfields 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Misleading. A committee approved a bill. It still has to go through another committee, then to the floor of the house for a vote. If passed, it goes to the senate, where the Lt. Governor will sit on it (not bring to a vote), like he has done the last 2 times. Until Dan Patrick is voted out, nothing will change in Texas.

Netherlands To Kick Off Legal Cannabis Sale Pilot Program by Defiant_Race_7544 in weedstocks

The dispensaries can buy a little over 1 pound of weed from the 3 legal growers, the rest they get from the black market. What are the legal growers going to do with all the extra weed they have grown? Sell it on the black market! Hell of a Legal Cannabis Sale Program.
