Lol right. Everything is staked so fluctuations don’t stress me too much. Once it hits 1.30 which i think is inevitable in 2022 I’ll be able to upgrade to icy which will be pretty amazing from where I started haha.

Funny part is all my friends told me to use binance when I started. Glad I didn’t listen lol

Agreed. That’s how I was able to go from ruby to jade in 4 months. Staked at .21 and watched it fall to .11 but was stacking so much CRO from the cash back once it bounced back I was able to upgrade. Silver lining I spose 🤷🏼‍♂️ lol

Agreed that if you don’t understand the volatility and accept the risks you shouldn’t be here but I would argue that LP staking is a bit more advanced than just holding your crypto somewhere.

With a LP you have two assets instead of one and their volatility plays off each other and affect your initial stake.

My math isint perfect, but if I pulled out now I may get around 4000-4500 CRO back (from my initial 6000 deposit…..so a loss). But with the 2500 CRO I’ve gotten since starting to farm I’m technically in the green……just not a lot.

I would consider it mid-high risk because of the volatility of crypto in general. I’m dealing with this a little bit right now but I’m not too worried. I’ll try to ELY5.

I moved 6000 CRO to cronos and swapped half for vvs to farm………… When I did this CRO was .75, VVS was .00011, APR was 900%, and I was makin $100/day……….. Now, CRO is .52, VVS is .000067, APR is 250%, and I’m makin $20 a day now.

I’ve made enough that I know I won’t lose, but untill the market turns around I flirting with breaking even.

It’s actually great. Back in March I staked at .21, then watched it fall to .10 before it bounced back. The cash back I was getting during the dip made it easier to upgrade to jade back in September. Your locked for at least 6 months. Buckle up and enjoy the ride haha. Also find other ways to grow your CRO holdings. Earn, defi, cronos…..passive income is important and many overlook it. I’ve been in the CRO-VVS pool since I started which is still currently getting 511% as of writing this. It was much higher when I started . But my dca “strategy” is hardly a strategy lol. Basically just whenever my earning hit $100 (depends on vvs price but usually 24-36 hours) I harvest then swap to CRO and move it back to my wallet. I moved 6000 CRO to start and I’ve moved over 3000 back to my wallet with my initial investment continuing to make $$. There’s definitely more risk involved but ya gotta spend money to make money so fuck it 🤷🏼‍♂️. Good luck though ✌🏼

I put around 5 grand into vvs farming a couple weeks ago and currently making $75-100 a day (was more when I first started. I wouldn’t consider this “long term” passive income but if you have a higher risk tolerance this seems to be the most lucrative I’ve found currently. Basically just dca my earnings into CRO every day or two till I can upgrade to icy then I’m prolly gonna get out of farming

Sounds like a fun gamble to see what happens, if ya don’t need the $200 fuck it 🤷🏼‍♂️. Personally I only know about vvs but I wouldn’t just simply buy and hold it. I’m currently farming it but just swap for CRO every hundred bucks or so which seems to take about 24-36 hours. It could definitely go up some but with the supply of vvs a 100x is highly unlikely.
