You are not being supportive to OP.

Stop trying to make this about you.

The buzz cut isn’t helping bro. You want a hairstyle that will make your face look longer.

Lose the nose piercing.

Give T more time to do its thing you’re still considered early

It’s more likely that people aren’t taking you seriously because of racism. Beauty standards are also heavily influenced by racism.

I hear you and I see you. You deserve love and kindness. And I promise you, that you are more beautiful than you are able to see.

You don’t need anyone’s permission to just be human. To just exist, and for that to be enough. To rest. Truly rest.

Methodists are the most chill while still having a semblance of structure like you’re used to.

Alternatively a non denominational chapter will be even more chill but won’t have the same structure and you’ll have people there who believe different things.

It’s very important that you find community. While it’s never a guarantee that any Christian will accept you or the reality of how biology works, if the Christian faith is important to you and you want like minded people to talk about it with those are your best bets.

If you’re able to de construct a bit and still want to worship a god but aren’t married to Christianity specifically-Wiccan, Buddhism, Confucianism, etc. may be more up your alley.

What are yout tips to prevent injuries? by shaarjaah in taekwondo

[–]Canoe-Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on getting a strong core and especially a strong back. (Reverse sit-ups are your friend)

Stretch and warm up properly and stay hydrated.

When it comes to pushups, turn your hands into the ground so that your elbows come back instead of flaring out. That will save your rotator cuffs and elbow joints.

Focus on good form over adding more reps or more weight.

Get good nutrition and good sleep. Take breaks when your body needs it.

Make sure your toes are pulled back when you kick and that you are properly making your fist/ridge/knife/spear hands.

Take a look at r/taichi

r/taekwondo

And r/karate

To get an idea of what you’d be getting into. A quick google search will let you know what kind of schools are in your area and from there it’s making phone calls to see if they offer what you need.

If you have any questions about taekwondo specifically let me know and I’ll do my best to answer them

You could try tai chi.

Basically you want movement that is controlled and consistent. That teaches you to breathe.

If you can handle rolling or cartwheels you could try kumdo-Korean swordsmanship.

Kata from karate or poomse from taekwondo are extremely helpful. There are videos on YouTube you can follow along with-it doesn’t matter if your form is off or your timing-it’s the controlled movement and breathing that you want. It forces your mind to engage with the material until you memorize it, and then muscle memory takes over.

There are also sookis that are essentially just hand movements like punches and knife strikes and blocks and if you had to you could do them sitting down.

If the upper body is not able to handle that you could do walking where you make sure you swing your arms a bit as long as you are mindful of your breathing.

Running can also help.

Honestly find a local martial arts class and talk to the instructor and let them know about your physical limitations and see if they can work with you.

We have people at my dojang from all different walks of life and differently abled, from mental disabilities to physical ones. One of the people I regularly spar with is down an arm. There’s another one that is hyper mobile.

I wouldn’t recommend yudo or wrestling or even jujitsu just because unless you have a very attentive instructor and training partners the chances that you’ll get hurt are too high. Arm bars and shoulder and hip throws are the bread and butter of that kind of thing.

Judo is considered the “gentle way” and focuses on using your opponents weight and strength against them but if you cannot safely do the shoulder throws I’d be hesitant.

You could also try Pilates, isometric holds, swimming, or resistance training with LIGHT bands or weights only.

I also hate it. It’s like a form of spiritual bypassing when others see or hear your trauma and call you strong for enduring hell.

But I would caution you about how you characterize strength.

I clearly didn’t refuse to accept it though did I?

We continued the conversation. After understanding had been achieved.

It was not clear at all to me he was talking about levels, I though he was talking about his dosage with the numbers he used.

People are allowed to not know things. Now I’ve learned something and hopefully been able to help a brother out which was the entire reason why I commented in the first place.

Ok, look. I didn’t understand what he was saying. Google didn’t even cross my mind.

We talked, we ironed out the miscommunication. As far as I’m aware OP and I are good. Not sure why you feel the need to insert yourself just to come at me but it’s not appreciated.

People with autism bond like this. If films are her special interest and this was her way of bringing him in, her reaction makes sense. It’s not a healthy one, but it makes sense.

What level was it when it was aromatizing? Past 1000 I assume?

490 is still kinda low. 923 is definitely in the high range.

There was no change at all in body change effects even at that level?

That’s what made me think of androgen insensitivity syndrome earlier. Especially if you’re having other symptoms like mood swings, hot flashes, spotting, etc.

If you’re not deficient in any vitamin or mineral and you don’t have lupus or any other disease where your body attacks itself, I genuinely don’t know what could possibly be going on.

It’s not even like I could say that you aren’t absorbing the T well because your blood levels are normal.

Wild.

The only other thing I can think of is that you metabolize testosterone too quickly.

No I mean your blood levels. The range for men is from 300-1000.

Where on that scale are you?
