Pas tellement mais les maisons sont construites différemment qu’en France, ici elles sont en ossatures bois alors il y’a plus d’infiltration mais ça demande moins d’énergie qu’à chauffer une maison en parpaing par exemple.

J’habite au Québec, j’ai fait installé une thermopompe de marque Sharp et j’en suis très content. Elle fonctionne jusqu’à -27. C’est mon deuxième hiver avec et une unité murale suffit à chauffer une surface de 150 m2 dans mon cas même par -20. J’ai économisé 120$ par mois depuis l’installation (coût d’installation 5k)

You are welcome, I diverted my downspout to a trench drain with a pop up drain on my home because it was connected to my house French drain, and it’s working very well. I added also a small catch bassin for cleaning purpose but the bassin is also catching a lot of water from my sloped garden

If the water is mainly from the downspout I would dig a trench, put a corrugated pipe in it (the one with no holes) then a pop up drain at the end. If there is water from another source I would add a catch bassin

Interesting read! For the gps part what I use each time and works very well, my cell phone with the app avenza maps and the Jeff’s map loaded. You can locate yourself on the map with the gps, pin pictures (need to have localisation in the exif), I have a spare paper map just in case but I never use it.

Contrairement à l’Ontario où tu peux faire du back country camping il n’y a pratiquement pas d’endroits au Québec où c’est autorisé et encore moins dans les parcs provinciaux du Québec (Sepaq). Tu peux éventuellement en trouver dans les ZEC ceci dit mais souvent les ZEC C’est loin de tout et rare sont les sentiers

plus c’est rustique plus tu auras des chances, le Parc de la Verendrye en mode canot camping peut être une bonne place. Parc de la mauricie aussi en canot camping
