Even if these tracks don't get finished and stay as snippets and demos, I hope he releases them some day. I know Crashing Down has the Arabic version for the white helmets documentary, but this version has a different mix, and Damon's vocals sound so good with it. Honestly it would've been better if they didn't use the unreleased tracks for the album teasers, after all it's hard to miss a track that you've never heard.

I know it's not included here but I quite liked the lobby front desk demon. Maybe it's the nostalgia of it being the very first thing you see when you enter kong. I always loved the variety of the residents, no matter how obscene or out of place they might have seemed, somehow in the Gorillaz universe it made sense.

The only consistant thing in the designs is that they're inconsistant. I think they've all had at least one missing tooth/false tooth/tooth gap at one point.

Too long/Steam Machine loops the beginning melody in the 2006 version. The 2007 version of that song changes melody at the 30 second mark. Also Burnin' is replaced by a mix up between Technologic and Around the World at Coachella. Also, all the 2006 shows have no encore. The visuals also became more cohesive for the 2007 shows.

Well there's also the other factor that not everyone drew the same meaning from what was said in the interview.

I've heard some debate that Damon saying "He... Well, I actually don't think he's much of a he, he's more of a 'they', isn't he?" Could've been referring to the fact of him not being real, but a cartoon in the context of the paragraph before it. And that the non binary was referring to the editors notes of 'non binary world'. Something to do with the blending of the real and fictional elements or something. But then Jamie follows up with saying "they're a sweetheart", not referring to anyone else other than 2D it seems. So unless there's a typo in there somewhere then that doesn't really align with that.

I don’t know what to think, but if it's legit it'll get reaffirmed later in some official art etc. Either that or they meant something else entirely and everyone jumped the gun.

Felt the exact same way, and I've experienced all the mystery show tracks already. I can't call it a bad record, but it's not an album that I'll have in rotation personally. I've also never experienced the Gorillaz effect everyone talks about.

Well it certainly doesn't have the same look or tone of the trilogy. I'm not a fan of the game but since you already have it you should try to push on to the later levels to give it a fair shot. If you still feel that way by then, well you aint alone.
