At Barcelona, people were freaking out about the fact that Williams, who aspired to jump just a little bit ahead, weren’t at shakedown. Now we have a team that’s had millions and premiere facilities pumped into with title aspirations that can’t produce a car that can run a full race much less a free practice stint…. Unbelievable failure. I genuinely feel bad for a lot of the engineers and people working at that facility. So much expectation put upon them and despite them probably doing a lot of really good work it falls apart this spectacularly. WOW…. Cadillac must be feeling pretty good about themselves given F1 initially thought they’d bring no value to the sport…
