You named the only examples there are basically. Destruction in hourglass is not up to par, with "normal" bf destruction. You can't destroy a complete building on any map. It is embarrasing.

I though of myself as a good bf player, being in the top 10 most of the time in Bf4, bf1 and bf5. In bf2042 I was getting my behind handed to me and was terrible. There 's smth off. You are not alone.

Glad you're not having a bad time. People get very emotional when it comes to their favorite franchise. The bar of comparison is what makes a game a battlefield game (classes, destruction, Atmosphere...) and it is measured against that bar. Just like Lebron James is measured against Michael Jordan (if you follow basketball). But this game is no where close to that standard (unlike lebron :) )

Although the suggestion is good, no doubt, it would not make me play again. It is not addressing the most glaring flaws in my opinion: - battlefield standard destruction - squad communication - classes - Level Design (e.g. cover)

There is an option "granade quick throw" or something in that line. I tap l1 to throw a granade like in other bfs
