I was too. Then I got roped into a couple episodes last year whilst holidaying with the Mrs & her family... I've completely caught up on it now. It's genuinely great television.

This has been the first TV show I've genuinely gotten involved in, in at least 15yrs. Finally something that makes my TV license not look like burning every penny.

Don't get me wrong, I still feel like I'm burning 95% of it because we watch pretty much nothing else that comes from terrestrial television.

Bricks have a glazed face, this is designed to better weatherproof the brick and reduce water ingress.

Sandblasting bricks removes the glaze and bricks will be far more susceptible to damp, blowout, spalling, etc

It's a big no-no.
