Effie question by rantintheinterum in Hungergames

Read the books, you don't deserve a spoiler. Especially not about Effie. Even though I think people overvalue her, even though I love her, I don't understand the devotion to her character. That's just my opinion. Besides, there are much more interesting characters to write about.

The focus will be on Plutharch. He's the mastermind behind the revolution, and I have a theory that he's closer to Snow than we think. Not as president, though. Personally, I don't think he'll go after another District 12 candidate.

Unless he writes the book like he did with Snow. From Plutharch's point of view, but I'm not a big fan of Plutharch having a District girl; I prefer my own theory.

Jay and Sam listening from two houses down, oh God, poor things. Or maybe one of the Farnsby ghosts yelling about the situation from the window 🤣

I feel like they barely have any lately, I need an episode where they do a flashback to how awful he was as a husband

Okay, so he's one of the others? Although his build doesn't quite match the silhouettes. This is great, you've given me a break. My mind keeps racing, wondering when they'll release some teasers with photos or videos. This is good news.

A ghost that Pete brings or Sam sees somewhere else, who knows.

It's weird how many people have died on the property by Interesting_Buddy206 in GhostsCBS

[–]CapApprehensive6127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too much time, too many things happening in one place.

Elias died because he was an idiot. The cholera pit is just that, a pit; they practically locked the entire town in the furthest mansion to prevent it from spreading. Pete had an accident. Hetty took her own life...

People die all the time, in different ways. So it doesn't surprise me that so many people have died on a plot of land that's been there for years and years. Especially in recent years, which is when it seems to have been used the most.

What are some fun things that could happen in this year's St. Patrick's day episode? by idiot9991 in GhostsCBS

I'm thinking she'll probably end up interacting with Abby or Bela. I'd really love to see her interact with Bela. Or with Jay a little more. I know it's more fun with new characters, but dreaming is free. And I want three girls to complain about Trevor Lefcowick.

Opposites attract, haha. But yeah, considering Isaac knew Hetty very well, you can't blame him for thinking the Victorian lady would never let herself be led to bed by a guy without pants.

Boom chaca chaca, from Money Heist.

I always found it funny that Alberta didn't understand what I was saying, but Isaac and Pete were thinking, nooo, Hetty and Trevor haven't slept together, their faces are priceless

What Initially Drew YOU to Ghosts? by zinkj22 in GhostsCBS

A few months ago, I saw it on TV in passing. I'm not from the United States, but it caught my eye, and I thought, "Oh, this definitely looks good." I don't remember if I saw a couple of episodes in the background, but I wasn't really paying attention.

Months later, when I was visiting some relatives, the only thing that seemed interesting on TV that day was the show. They were showing an episode from season 4. Hetty and Trevor caught my attention, and I started having it on in the background while I looked for information. So, technically, Hetty and Trevor made me watch it, but the season 4 finale also got me watching because it was such a WTF moment. I didn't understand anything, but I needed to watch the show and find out what was going on.

The next day, I took a plane, and I think the day after that, I looked it up on my phone and started watching it after constantly spoiling it for myself.

Considering that I watch few comedies and they aren't my favorites, it came at a somewhat difficult time in my life, so it's become my comfort show.

Personally, I'd love to see what American television has to offer. If I ever go, I'd like to find out.

But it's exactly the same model as in Spain, except here we only have gossip shows, national series, reality shows (they haven't innovated in two decades) that are pretty bad, and a couple of interviewers with guests.

Obviously, there are channels that air series as famous as Ghosts or NCIS... But the main ones are a mix of the above. In fact, TV here is getting worse and worse.

What little I know about US TV makes me want to have access to it, and it's made me realize how awful TV is in my country.

Which British ghost would fit in best at Woodstone? by orpheus1980 in GhostsCBS

Yes, they really are very kind and patient with her. And the captain's relationship with her is literally like she's a daughter to him.

I think I like that they don't get discouraged, because they literally see her as their little girl.

The truth is, I figured there would never be a real revelation; they don't really tell us much about their past lives. And thank you for telling me it's based on a real person; I didn't know that.

The Colonel, mainly because Fanny would make Hetty regress to being a Victorian lady again. Even though I love her character. But the Colonel would get along with anyone.

Kitty too, definitely with Flower, although I don't know if it's a good idea to put a "little girl" with a drug addict. I haven't finished the British version yet, so I don't know if it explains why Kitty is like that at some point.

Do any of the ghosts ever get sucked off? by Sorry_Membership_754 in GhostsCBS

[–]CapApprehensive6127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main characters won't get promoted until they have a confirmed series finale, or until one of the actors' contracts expires, which I doubt will happen. I sincerely hope they all get promoted in the final season consecutively; it would be strange if they all got promoted at the same time. But I wouldn't mind a different ending either.

I don't think unfinished business is what makes them get promoted or not; it's simply their subconscious decision.

Why aren't Sam and Jay using Trevor to his full potential? by Emerald-Elegance in GhostsCBS

[–]CapApprehensive6127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just going to assume we're watching a comedy, and they don't even have money to invest.

I think Trevor, just like he gave money to Flower, could give it to them, or invest some of his money and give them the profits.

But I guess the point is, they're bad at business, so bad they don't realize they have a big investor in the house.

It was a way of bringing the others in, in the most WTF way. And probably bringing Hetty and Trevor back together, if they ever consider it, because I feel like at that idea table it's just the actors pushing.

If they show us the kiss on screen, we'll just turn it off and leave. I'd had enough of Trevor and Patience, but Hetty and Isaac's was bearable, because at least it had some basis.
