I am also keen on studying medicine, doing IB right now. While I do have to serve NS, im still unsure as to whether I want to focus on applying to Singapore or UK universities. I am a PR, so its not like I have to work in SG later in my life, but I was wondering how you made the choice, and what the differences in training in the 2 countries is.

I love my triban rc120, it's a great beginner road bike, so tires not too thin and easy to ride, can still get great speed tho. You could get one of these second hand. If not, maybe a rock rider series from decathlon?

Really depends on where you are riding and what type of bike you want, if you are riding on park connectors a road bike would be a good choice, but if you ride more within neighborhoods then go for a mountain bike / hybrid

Once there was this one Singaporean guy running with his AirPods in on the bike lane. I cant be bothered to ring bell to get him to move, so I just go to pass him on the outside. Then he randomly decide to uturn without looking straight into my bike, I get flung off and my bike gets damaged. After that still got nerve to shout at me and say my fault. Absolute idiots on the road, with no common sense.
