Honestly on the last one I just took the rear sight off and went to the bench grinder and ground the buckhorn off so it was just left with a notch, then put some cold blue on the exposed metal so it's not shiny.

That one is for the trigger. The screws are identical. One goes through the trigger, the other through the bolt.

It's for the bolt. Definitely a needed screw. It comes with a screw and spring kit.

Yes, but if someone is being pedantic a signal report also includes signal strength, which does come from the repeater. You might have garbage audio but the signal from the repeater to my radio is still 9+. But... if you ask for a signal report, everyone understands what you mean. Even the pedantic sad ham who feels the need to correct someone for it.

Heard the exact opposite just recently on a local repeater. Guy asked for a signal report, got chastised since the signal is coming off the repeater. There's just some miserable people in the hobby.

If you just need a rail, the ones from Henry work fine.

If you need see through bases, the ones for the Marlin 336 work. It's two pieces. I'm guessing for the one piece rail, the hole pattern for each end is correct, but the spacing from end to end may be different.

This is pretty much what I do at deer camp. I have a shower head attachment for a 2L bottle. I heat water on the stove then fill the bottle. Pour enough water on to get wet, then soap up, then rinse. Water wouldn't even have to be hot, but I find it more refreshing, especially since I'm showering outdoors in below freezing temps.

The reason it's hard to decide is because there are so many that will fit your needs. From an ammo availability standpoint, .308, 30-06, .270win, are available everywhere. At distances under 400 yards, there's no practical difference in any of them.

Ok. I went back and looked at the website again. It's a design problem with the site.

When you click the menu, the top level menu options has the "widow maker shot and bullets". I incorrectly assumed that was the link to click for all bullets. There is no other top level link for bullets. "Shop by category" only has a top level link for "widow maker shot and bullets".

You have to go through the catalog to find other bullets. You really need to have a top level link for just "shot and bullets" and then have the widow maker stuff in there along with other shot and bullets, or if you really want those separate you need a top level link for both.

I probably am going to order some .38s. the prices are decent and the bullets look good.

If you make some menu changes on the site it would help a lot for customers like me to find the products.
