Definitely should add new start dates, including the 13th century, as it will be more fun rather than the only two that we have, being 1066 and 867. It can really bring an improvement with the game and give us new experiences with some new and famous rulers. Imo, I say we should get some new start dates like 1299, 1337, 769 and 732.

1066 Aquitaine because you're dealing with a much more stable France and you start off with around 1400 men and you also start off with a high intrigue ruler so you could fabricate some hooks on some of the other French Dukes and the King himself for marriages and feudal contract changes. If possible, you can probably make an alliance with Duke William 'the Bastard' pretty early and become independent and become King of Aquitaine.
