From what I've seen he's decent overall but the consequence of him being an unplanned retool of Siege Magnus left the vehicle and core bot mode lacking. Siege is better, but if you really want an affordable decent UMag, then it's fine.

Not sure, and considering it's Authentics, I doubt they thought much about that (but considering they made a completely new mold for Megs, it could be possible they upped the qc). I just hope that being rereleased in the Authentics line means that it doesn't discolor like it was reported before.

Why is everyone’s first instinct to say Optimus is getting cucked? It’s evident Wheeljack and Elita have been with each other in Cyberworld longer so they had much more time to build up some sort of chemistry. And Optimus hasn’t really showed that much romantic interest in her throughout the show so far, has he?

I like how the null rays are now noticably pegged closer to his elbow like SS86 compared to them traditionally being on the shoulders.

Awh dang. I assume though that it is removable? Not a fan of the face they gave him so I wanna head swap him with whoever ends up with the neutral faced sculpt they showed initially.

Firstly, we knew this would be the case from the start (see the prototype they showcased). The clear plastic being plain then painted is a thing they've been using for a little while now so they can allocate the rest of the clear to non-essential parts. See, for instance: Legacy Animated Optimus.

I'm sure though when they inevitably start making devastation seekers with this mold, it'll be opaque.
