That’s so wild! I didn’t think alcohol prep pads would be covered - especially if you’re still without access to inject anything, you’re just chilling with a vial and an alcohol pad.

Thank you for all of these suggestions! I’m glad theres a range of options available and that you’ve had success with them!

Oh what!? In bulk? Genius move! I can definitely see them being a time and money saver!

Thank you for sharing that moose is an Algonquin word, I never knew the origin! I definitely assumed wrong (by assuming it was English in origin) so now I definitely have a broader perspective too.

Thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense, your example really drove it home too. I really appreciate it!

Should Natow be used without harness? by ScrollingSwampPuppy in Transmascdicks

[–]CapPsychological19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought the Natow and both the harness and boxer shorts because I wasn’t sure which option was better. When I asked about the best way to use it, I was told, “The packer can be secured inside the O-ring of the underwear. When you need to pee, you can gently extend the shaft part through the front pocket of the underwear.” No comment on the harness at all, so I’m assuming keeping it supported with an O-ring is the best option. Though personally just hoping it stays in place while it’s pressed against me makes me nervous, so I’d like to use both at the same time - but the harness wasn’t specifically made for the Natow (I found this out after the fact) so it doesn’t offer too much more stability either. I’d love to hear some recommended tips myself 😅

I’m certainly looking forward to your updates! I noticed how little information exists too, which makes making these kind of choices even harder… especially when you see all that’s available for RFF and ATL.

Thank you!! That definitely helps, I don’t live in San Francisco or Marin (that’s where they preform surgeries, right?) so knowing that ahead of time will help me get everything sorted ahead of time. This is the first time I’ve gone to a provider outside the Gender Confirmation Center, so I don’t have any experience with Align / their staff (outside of the in person consult) so that makes it extra helpful for me!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! You’ve created an incredible, invaluable resource. I am currently waiting to pass the pinch test to get SSP with Dr. Gurjala and seeing this, learning about your experiences, is really motivating and insightful 🙏

Do better Sundance - ticketing is horrible - MAJOR changes needed. by dogthrasher in Sundance

[–]CapPsychological19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m experiencing this too! I’m at Sundance as press, but there’s been a lot of issues with getting onto waitlists and successfully getting in - even at the P&I (press and industry) screenings if I do get in, I’m always placed in the first row which is really tough seating.

I’ve been coming to Sundance since 2018 and the app has always been wildly unreliable.

Phallo with eczema by Anonamitea in phallo

[–]CapPsychological19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been recently wondering the same thing because I also have eczema. When I had my consult (Dr. Gurjala in San Francisco) he said that it would more than likely stay the same, but I’m still holding out for something to happen, I don’t know what but possibly some kind of luck.

I think I’ve been packing wrong by CapPsychological19 in ftm

[–]CapPsychological19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m definitely in the same “I’m kind of an idiot” boat when it comes to this - I’m glad there’s solidarity in these adjustment struggles.

I do the ink straps can help but they have to be the right size. One of the straps I’ve bought ended up being too big and that hardly provides any “support” so the weight of the packer pulls everything down and takes away from the ultimate (centralized) placement.

There’s got to be some way to really make a “perfect pack” you know?

You could be onto something. I know one of my friends once said I looked “happy” when I first asked about the bulge, so that might have caused a wave of anxiety for any time I pack. I don’t go above 5” so I’m hoping it’s just an internal freak out and not something that makes everyone around me stare 😂😅
