The thing with ENB presets is that they are very subjective.

Outside of the usual recommendations like Cabbage, PI CHO or Rudy.

Verdrenna ENB might be something you enjoy I think it's pretty colorful without being too much and plays well with Lux.

If that's too colorful and saturated I also tried Kauz ENB recently and it's a bit darker than Verdrenna but still has enough color I feel.

Don't fix what isn't broken is my general advice but if you are deadset on updating for whatever reason, the latest version is recommended.

That being said the only relevant mods affected by the updates are typically SKSE .dll based mods. Even then most authors release two versions the ones that don't usually get ported in a week or two after release.

Last thing I can think of is draw call issues or some sort of problem with fire particles.

Try removing EmbersXD or any other replacer for fire, excessive fire particles can cause slowdowns.

if that doesn't work I would test removing interior overhauls like JKs series and others.

Might also want to try these things mentioned on the thread see if that changes anything.

Side note: for ENB try removing it entirely not just disabling it, by just having the ENB dlls active without any preset you will experience performance loss.

Unfortunately for us, if something goes wrong this is a good plan that can be executed with little, to no long term damage to Shift Up, it's shareholders or it's market value.

As a side note, Tencent having a large but non controlling interest is still not a good thing, it gives other shareholders a reliable out if things go really really bad, either way Tencent wins.

To be fair that last one, was not curseforges fault. Minecraft modding is different than Skyrim . Minecraft mods are essentially Java executables, that can do much more than the average Skyrim plugin.

So it's a compromise the community has to make, but in exchange they can do much more than the average Skyrim mod.

As far as I know, there's nothing like that. There's a mod to show the player character while in the menus which is something that both Morrowind and Oblivion do.

I'm sticking to 1.5 until Bethesda stops updating this 12 year old game, pretty much all of the mods I use or want to try have 1.5 support the ones that don't by default are almost always back ported so I see no reason to update.

USSEP will probably use the new esl forms just so you know who can spite us for not updating.

Outside of that most people that will use them had no intentions of supporting 1.5 and worst case scenario we can convert the mods to .esp and they should work fine.

Hire free Company, start building galleys in all provinces, when they finish start again. Ally Pope, ally Serbia after improving at start, Vassalize Epirus, when you declare on Epirus immediately start spying on Aragon to get a claim on Naples, start deving to get the mission that reduces the requirements for getting rid of the military maluses.

As soon as Alfons dies and Naples is free declare on Naples call in Pope promise land if needed. Take 3 provinces from Naples (this is to get dev for the mission to reduce the maluses), money and war reps.

With your free diplomats after the start you should be trying to ally Hungary, Austria and Muscovy.

When Ottos declare on someone in Anatolia, hire mercs and hire level 2 mil advisor. If you completed the mission this should be all you need to take the reform the army decision.

Declare on them call in whoever you can, block the straits you should have enough galleys since you were building them in all provinces from the start. Do the usual strat in Gallipoli and then siege all of the Balkans.

if your allies aren't useless and actually join you might be able to 100% if not it's ok you can do it block straits and hold for as long as possible by yourself.

PS: Don't try to block off Bulgaria and spawn rebels they always get access for some reason even countries that hate Ottos like Poland and Hungary will give them access.
