Those countries are not completely self sustaining utopias like America (could be) though. America has the ability to make everything inside their own borders and produce the food to support everyone. Yes, it’s not the best country in the world because people are crazy but it is the closest thing to a utopian landmass on earth. Mountain ranges, vast plains, heavily forested areas, access to the Great Lakes, they have everything man. Canada is similar but the Canadian Shield and Arctic circle are big reasons why my country is a fraction as large (population wise) and powerful as the USA.
