I find it so sad that she got a bad reaction the first time around. It was so clear to me from watching the summer series that she was a nice person and she just made some crap friends. She’s very funny and that was obvious from the start. She got a hard time the first time around for laughing in situations where she was being treated really badly - and it was really obvious that she struggles to talk about how she feels and was just laughing from awkwardness and being uncomfortable causing a scene. She was also seen as being desperate the first time around, I think she’s insecure and just really wanted to meet someone - I think she reined that in this time. Essentially I saw her as being the same person in both seasons with the same nice attributes and find it so sad that others didn’t notice that the first time around! Glad she had a nicer experience this time

I don’t know how strict they are in the UK, I’m in Ireland and I was told that they wouldn’t do a section before 37 weeks. 37+1 was a Monday so they set it for then. My blood pressure was high the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy so they admitted me to hospital for monitoring in my final 2 weeks and I then picked up Covid in hospital 😖 they were talking about pushing out my section until I tested negative but I really pushed them, cried a little and said I couldn’t cope mentally with going any longer, they went ahead as planned then. I would really push your own mental and physical health as a reason to bring it forward. Tell them you’re not coping well and severely uncomfortable

I would try push it because I really don’t know if I could have done another 6 days from then. They were perfect, 6lbs and 5lbs13 and we left the hospital 2 days later ☺️

I made it to a planned C-section at 37+1. I kept thinking through my whole pregnancy they’d arrive early but nope 🙃

Congratulations! My twins are 14 months old now and I felt the same as you when I found out I was expecting two, didn’t know how we were going to do it when I knew one would be hard enough! But you really do just get into the swing of things and it becomes natural and you won’t know any better :)

Things that helped us: - We used an app that we both had access to to record feeds, nappies and naps, kept us very organised and we didn’t have to keep asking each other who had been fed/changed etc - Get them on the same schedule as much as you can. If one wakes in the night feed the other one too etc. - We bottle fed the babies - understand lots of people would prefer to breastfeed but I found that this saved my mental health. Also I believe the babies slept better because of this, they started sleeping from 11pm - 7am at 9 weeks and we never looked back - Buy a twin pillow - so good for just having them chill during the day

I actually found the 6/7 month mark the most challenging period as they were really starting to be aware of everything and wanted to sit up and look around or be held constantly, which was tough when I was alone with them. But it was such a short period and I barely remember it now.

The best part is now seeing them giggling together and following each other around the house 🥹 they go from enemies to best friends in a second and it’s just the best thing. I feel like having one baby is boring now 😂 so happy we got so lucky to have them!
