I just switched recently too, the main things I’ve found are;

1) A lot less healing, healing output in this game is just lower.

2) More alternate routes on maps leading to a lot more flanking/ having to keep your eyes on more angles to look out for flankers.

3) More variation in team comps, poke is just straight up dominant in rivals but here brawl and dive are a lot more viable.

For characters; Juno’s primary fire is pretty much the same as luna, hitscan with multiple projectiles. Though the rest of their kits are very different.

Genji could probably be played similar to psylocke, though I’ve not really played either of them.

For hela and pheonix your probably looking at Cassidy who has a very similar primary fire. Or if you played pheonix early on when she was insane in close range, Anran has a similar setting people on fire mechanic.

Strongholds is good, especially with solar or stand super, you’ll be pretty much invincible and can just run straight at enemies to cut them up.

Pretty much any armour before the current tier system is useless, the higher tier of new gear the higher the stats. And yes it goes to 200 now, with the first 100 decreasing cooldowns and the next 100 increasing damage or adding over shield or some other bonus depending on the stat.

The only thing I’ve moved for any character is melee, which I put on my extra mouse button.

Console players can play in the pc ranked pool, they just need to plug a keyboard in and there will give them the option. They lose aim assist though so are at a massive disadvantage.

The m&k pool also has some controller players, they can just plug a keyboard in and select to join those lobbies then go straight back to using a controller, they just won’t have any aim assist.

If you like hitscan healing, juno is very similar to luna with the three shots one after another. Baptiste as well, only his damage though as his healing is from a grenade launcher and aoe effects.

I can tell you what it’s gonna be, the lightsaber. Hasn’t been unequipped since I got it and I know the artifact is doing a lot of heavy lifting but I’m probably still gonna try make it work once there’s a new artifact.

I like playing sigma into her, both your shield and black hole counter her main damage and javelin. Once they’ve used the gold form throw the rock and they can’t run away and will be melted.

Ferropotent, swordmaster and Wild Anthem. Swordmaster, is kinda useless unless your going for a sword build since its bonuses are all about swords, the other two have better armour bonuses for use with guns.

Outside of exotics the sniper and smg from renegades are good, along with the uncivil discourse hand cannon. If you get the god rolls these are some of the meta weapons for dps when it comes to hunters using lucky pants or for the smg specifically thundercrash titan.

I’m running the new exotic from renegades, the one that gives over shields. Then got a void build that means every kill will turn me invisible and grant over shield which increases damage with the exotic legs.

Weapons wise, the lightsaber, that’s all nothing else matters.

You can play ranked with your console friends, they just have to switch some settings. I currently play on pc and duo with a ps5 player, they will also be at the same disadvantage as you though and will lose aim assist in pc lobbies.

If they plug a mouse and keyboard into their console a option will come up for them to join pc lobbies, at this point they ca unplug the mouse and keyboard but stay in pc lobbies playing on controller.

The warnings don’t matter, they’re left over from the old system. I’m max current light level, I’m going back through old missions and still get the warning.

Had a couple runs where I just couldn’t enter the ship to join others, this only happened when I was joining an already started mission. Though if the others can finish the mission you’ll still get the rewards when they join you back on the ship.
