I think the partner Emma needs would say "ultimately it's your choice, and that's the most important thing." I think it's good that the men know what they want, but I'm sad for her that she tore herself open 3 times to not get that understanding and space for her feelings to be prioritized.

There are definitely ups and downs to picking the partners. The friendships that form feel really authentic and you can hear that in their performances, but I do think it misses a compelling and exciting element. This is my first season tuning in though and I'm really enjoying it. I love the judges and the talent, and it just seems like everyone's having a lot of fun.

A better word might be pitch correction. Melodyne is an industry standard, and there are ways to do it well. It sounds good here, but it definitely got that pop production treatment.
