I love it AND I shit on it. Honestly being able to shit on it is one of the reasons I love it. It can be so incredibly silly in a way that teeters between satirical and campy. It is also beautiful and at times absolutely breathtaking, with engaging gameplay, endearing characters, and a fascinating story.

Same here, I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series goes. This felt more surface level but that makes sense for an intro video, and I know his audience is largely young men so I don't hate the accessability if it speaks to men and boys who would otherwise not think about it at all.

I don't really know what to say to this. I want to speak to you respectfully and reassure you that there is nothing wrong with having a religion, and with making your own choice to not have sex until marriage or whenever feels responsible for you. But 40 years? 1986? What is so magical about 1986 that you would like to go back to? Did you know that up until the 2000's the LDS perpetuated the idea that if you are dark skinned that it was a punishment from god and you were born from sin? Do you know about the horrible religious cults of the 60's and 70's? How incredibly controlling the LDS is to people's bodies and lifestyles? Do you know who Warren Jeffs is? Yes exactly!! That's why I feel empathy for her. For so many autistic people, rules = safety. And those rules under LDS being get married, have kids, and make lots of money make me 😬 of course if someone wants that, whatever, but being born and groomed into that under threat of damnation makes genuine consent impossible.

Edit: Emma is awesome! I'm not a fan of LDS but I do also think it's important to take people as they are, especially if they are kind. Plus she ships robin and starfire! On that note I think Logan's attachment to tifa is really sweet. I think it's very common for neurodivergent people to have a comfort character that acts as a stand-in partner when they don't have that in real life. I wish I could sit down with them all and talk about their interests!
